We are an elegant, rustic wedding venue and just opened in May of 2019! Our capacity is up to 350 with the use of our gorgeous patio! The Event on Sunnybrook is a premier Wedding reception hall located in Brimfield & Kent, OH. You can go simple at our venue, but when you go elegant and extravagant there really are no words! You're left absolutely speechless!!! We do not host weddings on Sundays!

    We loved the Event on Sunnybrook for our summer wedding last year! They had ample space for our party of guests that was accompanied by modern rustic decor and beautiful views. The staff was very professional throughout our entire experience. Hope was very easy to work and kept in constant communication with me via email and Zoom calls which was a huge blessing when residing on the West Coast and planning a wedding two thousand miles away. I gave quality of goods and services only four stars because they did not have toasting champagne available as part of any of their main bar packages without purchasing it separately from their vendor by the bottle or glass which ended up being costly. This is a staple at many weddings and should be readily available. They also did not have champagne glasses to serve it in or toast with so I had to purchase plastic ones separately. They did not have the ability to clean glass ones for me at the end of the night which was why I had to choose plastic reluctantly. Any specialty drinks "bride or groom's choice" also had to be purchased separately as well but this was a little more understandable considering the vast array of options out there. Lastly, while many of the culinary dishes were delicious, some of the main courses were overcooked and cold on the day of my wedding and I thought this was frustrating considering the price point of this venue. Other than these few things, we would recommend The Event on Sunnybrook to others looking to have a beautiful classy rustic wedding! Overall, we loved our day and had a really good experience with this venue!

    We had our wedding at Sunny Brook December 11. The venue was amazing aesthetically for what I imagined my wedding day to be. Hope was a pleasure to work with while we were planning everything. Having a point of contact for anything that came to mind was a perk I was not originally looking for. Also the food was perfection and accommodating to gluten free guests. All of our friends and family were raving on how delicious things were.

    We got married at The Event On Sunnybrook during covid and had to reschedule from the year before. They made it so easy to transfer dates and were all around great to work with! We had the most perfect day there and couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else!
