About this venue
We are an elegant, rustic wedding venue and just opened in May of 2019! Our capacity is up to 350 with the use of our gorgeous patio! The Event on Sunnybrook is a premier Wedding reception hall located in Brimfield & Kent, OH. You can go simple at our venue, but when you go elegant and extravagant there really are no words! You're left absolutely speechless!!! We do not host weddings on Sundays!

Wedding Venue Dreams!
From our first conversation with Hope and Holly at The Event on Sunny Brook, we knew we had found something special. This dynamic duo was supportive and attentive every step of the way, acting as our biggest cheerleaders and true teammates throughout the planning process. The venue itself is breathtaking—the grand, spacious grounds and open layout gave us endless possibilities to make our vision a reality, and the views were absolutely stunning. Hope and Holly were open to all of our ideas and made everything simple and easy, helping us along the way without making us feel rushed or stressed. Our wedding day exceeded our expectations, and we truly believe that Sunny Brook was a huge part of what made it so special for us and our guests. We cannot thank Hope, Holly, and their entire team enough for being such an incredible part of our journey. The fireworks were a massive hit as well ;) for anyone looking to not only have fireworks on their wedding day from a feeling, you can have real fireworks at Sunny Brook!

Best place to get married !
We absolutely loved our experience with the Event on Sunny Brook! They were attentive, had all the best answers & suggestions for our day, and were pleasant to work with throughout the entire process. They were organized, had visuals for colors and seating arrangements, and even helped me find a new photographer when my original one was a fraud. They go above and beyond in planning & on the actual day! We could not recommend the venue enough.

The best!
Hope and Holly are the best!! They made everything so easy and were overly prepared! They do food at the venue and the food was also amazing! Made everything the day of go smoothly as well!

From the moment we first reached out to The Event on Sunny Brook, their communication style was amazing, helpful, and energetic. The quality of their work and the value they provided was simply beautiful, lovely, and perfect. They were so helpful throughout the entire planning process, excited to celebrate with us, and made sure our special day was exactly how we wanted it. The team at The Event on Sunny Brook took every question, phone call, and email we had, and helped us figure everything out with enthusiasm. They were an absolute joy to work with and we are so grateful for their contributions to making our wedding day truly perfect. This was our second event with them and I had such confidence and peace when booking with them because I knew they would handle everything and make sure the event was perfect! Hoping I can work with them again in the future!!!

We fell in love with the beautiful venue ! The possibilities of being able to use the large outdoor patio along with the inside space was key ! So many compliments on the food , the late night snack which was wood fire pizza, well stock bar options and just the feel of the location on a golf course on a summer evening was a perfect wedding reception! Hope and Holly made everything so easy , communication was top notch ! We ended the reception with fireworks over looking the pond . What a dream come true for my daughter’s wedding !
