With an imposing seven-story stone facade, Greystone remains one of downtown Akron’s most majestic structures. Originally built by the Freemasons in 1917 for their business and social gatherings, Greystone now offers exceptionally appointed spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions along with an in-house culinary department and a team poised to make your wedding the best day of your life.

    Amazing experience

    We had our wedding at Greystone Hall and truly cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. They handled EVERYTHING. Throughout the planning process, they answered every question we had before we even thought to ask it, plus about 100 more things we never would have known to consider. Having that level of experience behind us took so much stress out of planning. The wedding day itself was flawless from setup, to execution, to tear down. The entire staff was incredible, but especially Anna, Ron, and Christine. They made the whole experience feel fun and stress-free, and we were able to actually enjoy the day knowing everything was being handled by professionals. Our guests were equally impressed. We had so many compliments on the food, and the bar flowed incredibly well all night. Every detail felt organized and seamless. Greystone is the perfect venue if you want to be able to trust that everything is being taken care of by people who truly know what they are doing. We would recommend them for any event.

    Absolutely beautiful venue!

    Our wedding in September 2024 at Greystone was so beautiful! The space was perfect and unique. We loved the separation between the cocktail hour room, large bar area and ballroom. Our guests were able to flow through the venue with ease and we received so many compliments about the venue, the food and the staff that night. We had signature drinks and the bar staff did a great job making those. The appetizers we picked and the food was delicious and served quickly. Overalls I would recommend this space to everyone I know.

    Perfection!

    Greystone was perfect! We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding! The facility was gorgeous and we loved having our ceremony and reception in the same building to help minimize travel for our guests. More importantly, the people who work there are truly the best. Our first meeting was supposed to be a quick tour but the ladies spent hours with us going over details and questions even before we committed to booking. Their patience and friendly demeanors really helped during the stressful planning process. They were super easy to communicate with and got back to us in record time. Their in-house building ambassador made organization a breeze. The servers the day off blew us away with their kindness and consideration. They even made sure two servers were dedicated to the bride and groom to ensure that we actually ate and kept hydrated. We truly cannot recommend Greystone more!!!

The day of your wedding, access is given to the building at 12:00pm. You tell us how long you want to celebrate! The room rental is a flat fee. A building ambassador will be on site for the duration of your event at $31/hour.
In the event client cancels for any reason whatsoever, Greystone shall retain all deposits for the space rental already paid by client prior to such cancellation. Cancellation. IN THE EVENT CLIENT CANCELS THE EVENT FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, (A) THE BUREAU SHALL RETAIN ALL DEPOSITS FOR THE SPACE RENTAL ALREADY PAID BY CLIENT PRIOR TO SUCH CANCELLATION;
