I picked my photographer, Taylor, based on her portfolio and I couldn't have been happier! Her personality was exactly what I was wanting and her photos turned out beautifully. The package we paid for came with SO MUCH and for such a good price. I was honestly skeptical that I was getting scammed and just prayed it was all as legit as it looked. It sure was! I paid a fraction of what some other recently married friends paid and got more photos back and other perks than they did from their photographers! We got an engagement session, a photo album, and EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. from our wedding day. There were over 5,000 photos sent back to us! Not to mention the use of a second shooter AND a videographer on the day of! We got a highlight version of our wedding day and a long version with every important moment. The quality was amazing! “Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”

“The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

“We loved working with Justin for our wedding. We had the duo (Justin and Jesse) do live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour with Justin serving as the MC for our reception. Jesse and Justin learned a few songs that were important to us to make our day extra special! We provided a YouTube list for them for our reception seated and dancing to give them a good selection of what we were interested in and they did great at filling in the rest. Justin was so easy to work with and understood desired our laid back wedding DJ style. Would definitely recommend! LGBTQ friendly.”
