“We booked Spike Events for our October wedding and Spenser was absolutely amazing! We had several meetings beforehand and he was on top of every concern we had. We had a wedding at a private residence outside, so electrical needs were tricky. Spenser was thorough in what he needed supplied from us and we were able to get the right electrical needs for both his sound system and the two arcade tables we rented. He also was such a fun personality to have around and added so much to the party! We have so many great photos of everyone up and dancing due to his skill of keeping things fun! He did a great job following our timeline and was very helpful in adding to it as needed when we weren't sure how to schedule things such as first dance, cake cutting and parental dances. We had aunts and uncles that I've NEVER seen dance, out on the floor tearing it up!You would not regret hiring this company! (Included in the review is the last dance of the night when everyone had gone home and my husband and I closed out the dance floor!)”

One thing we really loved is he played all our request. He worked around our schedule, using video chat to finalize everything was great ! He has his own website accommodated to you where you can add any music you want through YouTube etc worked out well with our wide variety of genres our guests liked. “Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“When a band is way out of your price range, but you’re DYING for live music at your wedding…JOSEPH AND ERIKA ARE PERFECT! I can’t say enough good things about Joseph and Erika! Music can really make or break the day and Joseph and Erika 100% made the day! They did amazing live cocktail hour music, then sang for half of dinner, then continued with amazing DJ’d music for the other half and dancing! They also offered live singing for first and parent dances which was amazing! It seriously is the music you dream of at a wedding. They use the easiest app Vibo to talk through what you do and don’t want played and they add in their amazing flare! I talked with Erika about what I was hoping for and she was able to give advice and remix everything perfectly! It can be hard to capture and post a photo of the vibe Joseph and Erika created for us, but I tried! Joseph joined us on the dance floor with his guitar and then we ended singing Piano man together! I seriously cannot stop reminiscing on everything!! Thank you Joseph and Erika for my sore feet from dancing for 5 hours straight!! Haha! From, a very happy bride”

“DJ Buono & DJ Tavo & crew were absolutely incredible!! As a news reporter, I can appreciate producing a SHOW and that is exactly what they put on! This was SO much MORE than a great wedding!! From the first phone call, DJ Tavo's excitement and attention to detail was top tier. DJ Buono helped sculpt our ENTIRE reception & even gave us the idea to have dinner become more of a performance with our violinist. “DJ Dana did our wedding on 8/31/24 and we highly recommend him! He took into account my wedding playlists, and knew when to play the right songs. It took a lot of stress out of our day. He was very early, and set up with plenty of time to spare. His speaker system and microphones for toasts worked great. He brought his own lights to add to the party and even added some to our sweetheart table to spice it up! He was very thoughtful, and even sang us L-OV-E by Nat King Cole very tastefully and casually while people were finishing dinner. Highly recommend… thank you DJ Dana!”

“We cannot recommend Bright Set Entertainment enough! We used Bright Set for our wedding at Mountain View Grand in May 2026 and hired them for our DJ, photo booth, ceremony and reception audio, and piano music. From the very beginning, Cassandra was incredible to work with. We spent over a year planning together, and she was organized, responsive, detail-oriented, and always willing to hop on a call, answer questions, or help think through ideas. One thing that really stood out was how invested Cassandra was in making sure everything ran smoothly. She wasn't just someone behind the scenes coordinating logistics — she was actually onsite for our wedding day and felt like part of our team. Unfortunately, we experienced an unexpected fire alarm interruption immediately following our first dance that temporarily paused our reception and forced guests outside. Cassandra, alongside our day-of coordinator, immediately jumped into problem-solving mode. When we were finally able to return to the ballroom, she creatively had us reintroduced to "Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston, which turned a stressful situation into a funny and memorable moment that had everyone laughing. We were so grateful for her ability to stay calm, think quickly, and help keep the energy positive. DJ Dennis was fantastic and kept the dance floor packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room and creating a fun atmosphere for guests of all ages. The photo booth was a huge hit as well. Guests loved the glow booth and the customized photo overlay, and we ended up with so many great keepsakes from the night. Entertainment-wise, everything was seamless. The ceremony audio, microphones, piano music, reception flow, DJ services, and photo booth were all executed beautifully.
