“We don’t even know where to start with this review! From the start, Ben and his team took our and our family’s questions about how to approach our wedding. With half of our family being Latino, it took some time to find the right fit in the area. We wanted a good mix where the entire room could have fun and feel included. Ben absolutely nailed it day of. We’ve heard from multiple guests how they’ve never seen a wedding dance floor full for the whole wedding like at ours and how there was music for everyone. Aside from that, Summit invested time in us before the wedding through multiple planning calls and their awesome app where we can slowly build out our event with preferences. We will be recommending Summit to anyone that asks and look forward to any future partnership. Your search can definitely end here!”

“Oh where to begin?! I met Brandon and Kellie during the April 2024 Richmond Bridal Expo. I was just going around signing up for all the give aways and drawings while collecting information. The day after the show, I received an email from DJ Signature saying I won their 2nd place prize and to schedule a meeting. My Fiancé and I set up a meeting via zoom and let the fun begin! We both instantly felt a connection with Brandon and he 100% understood the vibe we were going for. He took the time to go through all the packages and customized our perfect plan. I didn’t need some of the things the package offered so I opted to add in Signature Details (welcome to the party Kellie!) and have access to a wedding coordinator. Kellie joined our zoom call and it was like 4 friends just catching up and having a good time. Once we were done with the zoom, they emailed over everything we discussed along with a contract. We were signed, sealed, delivered within an hour of ending our call. Brandon is very proactive in asking for lists of music you do and don’t want during your ceremony. He also helped me when I was struggling to add certain genres I knew I didn’t want during the reception, and we created a dinner playlist with those songs so everyone was included. The day of the wedding Brandon and his assistants showed up ready to get to work. When I say everything was PERFECT I mean it! The music flowed beautifully and there was no awkward pauses in transitions. It was a special moment for my husband and I too, after pictures we got the chance to talk with Brandon. You could feel the love and support with everything he said and it was an honor to have him with us. Part of the package we did was a cold spark exit. I wasn’t sold on it when we originally talked about it but as we went on I was like ok it’ll be cool. My advice, DO THE COLD SPARKS!!!!!! I’m so glad they convinced me because it was honestly my favorite part of the night. Brandon had to leave after this part of our evening as he had another wedding to do fireworks at and his assistant took over. And that’s when the party started! I wanted it to feel like an early 2000’s-2010’s club vibe full of dancing and fun. They NAILED the mark on it too! Everyone had an absolute blast and I legit felt it for the next few days. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “I will recommend JVMMS Events/OneManJamz every single time someone needs a DJ. It was our absolute pleasure to work with Jeremy for our wedding day and I don’t know how, but we’re going to find a reason to work with him again as soon as we can. From our very first meeting, Jeremy was so personable, with clear, confident, and detailed communication that put us at ease (and as an anxious bride I needed this big time). Jeremy went above and beyond, answering countless questions to help ease my pre-wedding anxiety, and made sure that every song we specifically requested (i.e., ceremony, introduction, first dance, etc) and executed them flawlessly. Let me TELL YOU, the reception music? “We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single… From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long. Obehi is one heck of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!”

“Jon was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Lissa Marie Weddings and Events), and we immediately hired him after our initial meeting. It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. He is definitely worth the money and I would hire him again without a doubt for any event!”

“We absolutely loved working with Carol and Joey. They are an amazing husband and wife wedding team. We hired them just a month before our wedding when we realized we needed an MC, and we ended up adding Carol for day-of coordinating too. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Carol met with Haley (the bride) multiple times a week leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was covered. She has such a positive, calming spirit, and she brought a sense of relief even before the big day. That alone was priceless. She also took the time to really get to know our families and friends, which helped everything run so naturally and smoothly. On the wedding day, we had two pretty major and time-sensitive vendor shortfalls, and Carol handled both effortlessly. She kept everything under control without involving the bride and groom and was incredible at delegating tasks to the right people to make sure everything got done. She showed up fully prepared, emergency kit and all, and saved the day more than once. Joey did an amazing job keeping the party going. He brought awesome lighting for the dance floor, and he even set up lights in dimly lit areas so guests wouldn’t trip or fall. They both clearly care about everyone having a great time, but they put safety first, which we appreciated so much. Joey also took all of our music preferences and seamlessly wove them into the night so everything flowed perfectly. They brought their son as well, who was such an incredible support and a huge help throughout the day. A few weeks post-wedding day, they even hopped on a debrief call with us to walk through how everything went and help us give accurate feedback to our other vendors. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day was so special because of them. We couldn’t recommend Carol and Joey more.”
