“Bennie DJ’d our wedding and we were extremely pleased, from the start of the planning process, all the way through to the big day! When we initially met with Bennie, he gave us a blueprint that allowed us to share our thoughts and vision (for example, we wanted music, karaoke, and I also wanted to sing/play violin during the ceremony). From there, he collaborated with us, providing excellent suggestions, based on his previous experiences. He also reviewed the schedule and logistics with us, to make sure all the necessary equipment was mapped out. Our sound setup was perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He kept the energy high, and it was clear that guests felt comfortable approaching him to make music requests during the reception, too! Throughout the entire day, he read the crowd and knew exactly when it was the right time for karaoke, upbeat songs, slower songs, etc. Our wedding was a blast... largely in part to Bennie’s talent and expertise! We would HIGHLY recommend Bennie!”

Our music taste was all over the map — traditional Chinese music, ’90s emo, K-pop, country, and classic wedding dance floor staples — and Dan somehow made it all feel cohesive. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

Ethan the owner was our DJ and he was professional, did a wonderful ceremony, and listened to all our requests. While we had a vision for music, we put a lot of our trust in him and he came through. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

“DJ Pat Ryan is the best there is!! Everything was PERFECT, and he absolutely exceeded our expectations. People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. The week before the wedding, I was able to speak directly with DJ Big George and our photographer JP to finalize all the details.
