“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

On the day of, they fed off the energy of the crowd and kept the dance floor packed all night with their fun, musically talented performance that spanned all generations. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). On top of that, we added a handful of random, deeply personal songs you’d never expect at a wedding. What happened? “We had such a great experience with this company, and especially our DJ - Nick Champey! He was so communicative and made sure all of our wishes came true. We had a lot of crazy different songs and playlists for things, and he kept it all organized and everything went so perfectly! When we ended up having extra time at the end of the night before the last dance song, he was able to read our crowd and play some extra songs that totally fit into our vibe :) He also did great at announcing everything and made sure to check in with us throughout the evening to make sure we were feeling good! We also got a photobooth through this company and had an amazing time with that as well! Highly recommend!”
