He read the room perfectly, mixing in all the Jewish classics we asked for (the hora was legitimately epic – chairs in the air, zero injuries!) with current hits and some surprising throwbacks that kept the vibe fun and inclusive. I still have friends texting me asking for his playlist. Working with Dominic leading up to the wedding was an absolute breeze. I’m a planner by nature (hi, Rebecca here, nice to meet you), and he was so responsive – emails answered within hours, always kind and patient even when I sent him a million little updates. He hopped on a quick Zoom with us to go over pronunciation of names (he nailed the Hebrew ones without me even asking) and made sure every detail felt personal. Zero stress, which is basically a miracle in wedding planning. On the day-of, he showed up early, dressed sharp, and was just the nicest human – checking in with me and my mom, making sure my 92-year-old bubbe had her favorite Frank Sinatra song queued up, and handling a last-minute request from my brother with a smile. I also loved their transparent pricing - it's pretty rare that a company touts transparent pricing, and actually means it. Especially in the wedding industry, it was such a breath of fresh air to just have a vendor be straightforward, honest, and not try to upsell us or misrepresent pricing/fees etc. Steven was our DJ and he listened to everything we wanted & delivered. I had a very specific timeline including emcee cues & music for the pre ceremony & ceremony, and I was a little nervous that with only one meeting beforehand there was room for error. But these guys are professionals, asked questions about anything that was unclear in our meeting, and executed everything perfectly. We provided our must plays for the reception, and Steven texted me before hand asking if he could swap one of our picks with a remix version of the same song. I'd never heard of the remix but said go ahead! Now that song stands out to me as one of my favorite moments from the reception and is always tied to our wedding day.
