Our approach is calm and photojournalistic, with a touch of editorial style — allowing couples to fully enjoy their day while we document it as it naturally unfolds. We focus on genuine connection, meaningful details, and the moments you may not even realize are happening. We had our wedding last September, and Viktoriia and Oleksander (u&p studio) were our photographers—they truly ended up being our favorite vendor from the entire experience. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsible, attentive, and professional, always prioritizing our preferences and making sure every detail aligned with our vision. We absolutely love how our photos turned out. The quality is exceptional, with a refined, artistic touch in both composition and editing. Their use of professional cameras and lenses captured stunning details and genuine moments that we will cherish forever. What stood out most was their flexibility and dedication—whenever we had specific requests or ideas, they were more than happy to accommodate and bring them to life seamlessly. They created such a comfortable and positive atmosphere, which made the entire photography experience feel natural and enjoyable. We also received so many compliments from our guests about them. Viktoriia and Oleksander are not only talented photographers but also warm, kind, and easy to work with. Nathaniel Barnoff Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,395
  • Serves Milton, WA

Born and raised in a small town in rural Ohio, I’m now based near Seattle capturing love stories across the PNW and beyond. I’m a cat dad, recently engaged to my beautiful fiancée, and obsessed with honest, artful photography that reflects who you are—not just how things looked, but how they felt. Whether it’s a mountaintop elopement, courthouse “I do,” or backyard celebration with your closest people, I’m here to tell your story in a way that feels true to you.

Nathaniel was outstanding all around. We started with an engagement session. I wanted photos on the Vashon ferry and at my parents’ house. Nathaniel was willing to hang out with us for 5 hours - taking photos and getting to know us. The photos were outstanding - so sweet, classic, and didn’t feel posed. Then we had Nathaniel do our wedding. He was so helpful through the whole planning process - responsive, and so willing to jump into whatever we needed/wanted. The day of - he captured so much of our day - beyond my expectations. He wasn’t over the top or getting in the way - just blended into our day and produced photos that I absolutely adore. He was so kind to everyone and it really felt comfortable - I didn’t feel awkward even with so many photos. Nathaniel will be our go-to photographer going forward.

Leanne Rose Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

Based out of Seattle and New York. This will be my 14th year of being a full time wedding photographer. I’m Leanne, a documentary wedding photographer. I photograph weddings as they actually happen the quiet moments, the chaos, and everything in between so your photos feel like your day, not a performance. I work best with couples who care more about the experience than the shot list.

Where do I start? Everything Leanne does is perfect. I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a photographer. She captures everything as it is and the moments you would have never seen. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she has an eye for the best lighting. She is the candid queen and will make sure to capture the best moments that you will cherish forever. Many of the moments she captured at my wedding were moments, I didn’t remember or ones I wasn’t around to see. Leanne shot my wedding as well as my 1-year anniversary. I would be lying if I said I didn’t want yearly sessions with Leanne. My wedding photos were extremely important to me. I had Leanne picked out as my wedding photographer years before I was even engaged, and I contacted her less than 48 hours after getting engaged to make sure she was available – before we even had a venue. Although, I love photos, my husband and I are painfully awkward, but Leanne made us feel comfortable, she will assure you that you don’t look crazy and will hype you up the whole way through. She will be like the fly on the wall that you notice at times. I look at the photos Leanne has taken for me at least once a day and every time I notice something new. I recently attended a wedding and both my husband and I commented on how Leanne was worlds better than the photographer that was used. The things my husband and I noted, the photographer didn’t provide any direction or adjustments – relied on the people being photographed to have all the ideas. They also weren’t prepared for candid moments, for example, a quick round of rock, paper, scissors among the wedding party was missed because the photographer was watching, not photographing. These are things you won’t have to worry about with Leanne, her camera is always ready, and she anticipates the moments before they happen, but also knows how to create authentic moments when necessary. Not only is working with her a dream, but her editing style is so natural. Leanne was also able to photoshop a picture of my sisters and I with my dad, something that we forgot to take at the wedding. It is such an honor to work with Leanne and I recommend her to, without reservations, to anyone and everyone.

Little bit Photography

At Little Bit Photography, we are not just photographers; we are storytellers. With a keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to excellence, our team of seasoned photographers is dedicated to crafting a visual narrative that reflects the unique love story of each couple. From the tender glances exchanged during the ceremony to the joyous laughter on the dance floor, we aim to freeze these precious moments in time. We believe in creating an atmosphere of comfort and trust, allowing us to seamlessly blend into your celebration while capturing candid, genuine emotions.

I love Amber. She's very passionate about what she does & how it should be done. She is ever so patient too. We had about 42 family members at my wedding staying at the venue and she arrived with her assistant at 8:00am to start setting up and she left late in the evening. We could not have asked for a more dedicated photographer for our wedding. We definitely wanted more caught in the moment natural photography and she went above and beyond to catch some of the best moments of our big day. We have six children who were all grooms men & her patients/direction to get them to cooperate amazed us. My family was talking about her the next day after the wedding. She caught all the right moments at the right time even the kids doing crazy fun poses. She went above & beyond and even rerouted my officiant to remind him to let guests know not to take pictures or video tape our wedding (he told us he almost forgot) Thank Goodness for Amber & her team! Our ceremony was so romantic & intimate with no one snapping pictures but her. She was stopping in to talk to the maid of honor so not to stress me out, people who were pin pointed tasks she stopped to check in with. I am so grateful that she does everything with a smile because I'm sure we drove her crazy with my family & our anxiety! Haha She is thoughtful & thinks way ahead for every moment. She had us save a champagne bottle to use later for a sunset shoot which was so exciting and fun. Our first look was very special & full of tears from the groom. There are so many moments I will cherish because of Amber & her team. Amber- thank you so much for being a part of the best day of our life. You are honest, kind, generous, patient and so creative. You made our family laugh & you were so organized even with the chaos of such a big wedding. We appreciate you so much & how hard you worked. We are so excited to see the rest of our wedding pictures! The sneak peaks were AMAZING! A million thank you's!

Seattle Flashing Lights Photography

Meet your favorite FUNtographer: Stephanie began her studies with the plan to become a pilot. However, as her love for photography grew, she decided to pursue her passion as a business full time, getting to weave her love of capturing moments artistically and want to share that passion with others into a successful business where her clients always come first. Building into her style, she found her travels and time living abroad in college have influenced her images and allowed her to challenge her personal style of capturing moments, and coupled with lots of in the field learning, she is able to catch true emotions in a timeless way.

Stephanie was a great photographer for our big day. When she found out we didn't have a wedding planner during our initial consult meeting, she also gave us some great tips/hints, which led us to feeling a little less overwhelmed with it all. During that first meeting, Stephanie made sure to walk through the general look and feel of what she'd be doing during our wedding. We went over a pretty comprehensive list of family/group shots that we wanted, and she assured us that the day was going to be special. When she showed up for the day of the wedding, she was prepared and professional and definitely knew how to handle two anxious grooms who were running around making sure everything was good for the festivities. My partner and I just let Stephanie take the reins for how our photos were done, and I'm sure she would have preferred a *little* guidance, we're so glad we did, because her ideas were better than anything we could have come up with. Also, having that list of group shots was so important, because it made taking pictures with all of our family and friends fly by. As for the ceremony and reception, Stephanie was adept at blending in/not being noticed while capturing all the memories we could hope for. The pictures have been fantastic, and I don't know if there's a better person who can take two awkward guys, put them in what seem like awkward poses, and make beautiful pictures. Thank you so much Stephanie!

Jessica Uhler Photography
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)

I am a documentary family and wedding photographer located in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I accept commissions for family sessions, portraits, weddings, commercial and editorial work. I'm based in the Great Pacific Northwest, but please inquire about traveling, I love to do that too and do take commissions on the road when I can.

Jess is incredible. If you like her documentary style there is no reason not to hire her. From our first glance at her portfolio, we loved her magazine profile style shooting, our only fear being that because her sample shots were so good that when it came time for the wedding our photos wouldn't meet the bar. Jess shot our engagement & wedding photos and provided hundreds of high quality images that capture us as a couple and our guests personalities. She took the time to not only get to know what we hoped for but also who we were so she could really capture that. I didn't want to spend my wedding day posing for photos, but spending it with friends and family, and Jess understood that deeply. She was willing to ask for a shot when it made sense, but also melded into the wedding and took great shots capturing beautiful moments. Our wedding was split across three venues ranging from outdoor/harsh light, to cramped indoor room, and a massive banquet hall in each she did an excellent job and got images that truly feel like they could be printed in a glossy magazine. I feel so privileged to have had her be part of our wedding, in the end I find myself with similar sentiments to a reference I called, when asked how Jess ranked amongst their vendors, she said, "Can I rank her amongst my guests too? Because I think she was the best person at the entire wedding!"

Eivan's photo and video services were very affordable and were a major reason why we went with them. I think the photos we received turned out very well and captured many of the amazing moments that we had at the wedding. The service we paid for only included one photographer and one videographer but they were both very attentive and made sure to be where the action was the entire day. Overall, the experience was positive and for a bride who was more focused on living through the experience of her wedding, Eivan's did a good job of handling the stuff you don't really want to think about.

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. He was fun to work with and his heart for people and creativity shows through. Thank you Sean for capturing this time in our lives.

The photographer, Jonathan, and his assistant, were absolutely amazing. They arrived early, were flexible and really accommodating to our vision. They also really hustled! They took advantage of every spare moment they had to get additional photos, and kept us on schedule super tightly. They even carried around things like bottles of water for me (the bride) as we took lots of photos in the hot upper floor of the venue. Many guests also mentioned how beautifully the photos turned out. However, we did have an issue in which, due to an injury to the editor's hand, we did not receive our photos in the agreed-upon timeframe. Had we been informed of this delay ahead of time, we would not have had any issue just waiting a bit longer. The main concern was that we weren't alerted of this delay until after the initial deadline had passed. We did request a discount due to this, which they accommodated. And the photos did still turn out amazing!
