We are located on 30 acres of manicured lawns and traditional New England style gardens, nestled in between two shimmering lakes. Guests staying with us enjoy use of the many property amenities. Black Walnut Farm is a 34-acre historic estate in Saugerties, NY, where the Catskills meet the Hudson Valley and where weddings become full weekends of revelry. Settle in, welcome your favorite people, throw one hell of a party, and actually enjoy it all! Celebrate in our temperature-controlled 1891 barn with a four-foot disco ball, gather around the bonfire, and stay onsite in our 1747 farmhouse. 2027 Wedding Weekend Venue Fees are $13,500 off-season (Nov-April + July) and $16,500 prime season (May-June and Aug-Oct). A two-night farmhouse stay ($1,200/night) and 15% service fee apply; your welcome event has no additional site fee. Most couples plan for an overall wedding budget (including all outside vendors and services) of approximately $55,000–$100,000+. We have outdoor ceremony options in the stone garden or the vineyard and we always have a weather back up space in case the weather is not perfect. Timbers is our most popular rustic reception room. It can hold up to 200 guests and has 24' cathedral ceilings with exposed beams with lots of natural light overlooking our vineyard. Couples can take photos on our Golf Course while guests enjoy cocktail hour. After the wedding, everyone can go to the Tavern for the After party.
