“We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Rocky’s energy was unmatched on our wedding day!! He was very easy to work with, a great blend of fun and professionalism. Rocky worked with us to go through songs/playlists we wanted to use (I was one of those people who made my own playlists and he happily used those during parts of our day). At the same time, Rocky’s ability to read the room & incorporate more songs was perfect! One moment that we loved was Rocky’s idea to play a “memorial song” for my husband’s late mother, since he couldn’t dance with her. It ended up being a wonderful moment, where our guests were able to remember her while vibing to the song! During the reception, the dance floor was a place that I didn’t want to leave as a bride!! Overall, Rocky was a fantastic DJ, whose energy radiated to our guests the entire night! We highly recommend Rocky for any event!!”

We had an outdoor ceremony in April and wanted to include live musicians to add a wholesomely romantic element to our ceremony that we didn’t feel music from a speaker would provide. The musicians were talented and played very well. They had a large repertoire of music for us to choose from that made it easy to curate a list of songs we really enjoyed to be played while our guests were arriving and during our processional/recessional walks. Jaclyn Duncan Music made it very easy for us to add this element to our wedding, and the rate was very reasonable as compared to other live musicians we looked into. “I can't say enough about these guys! I am so glad I hired them for our wedding at the Stone House last week - it was such a blast. DJ Pete was the BEST MC, he was just great, impeccable timing, communication and his positivity set the tone for the entire event. DJ Joe Rocco was equally great with reading the crowd - he had the dance floor packed all night, and we had a small wedding of about 75 people.
