“I have been lucky to work with Jessica several times. As a fellow artist that loves the play of light and shade, the sunlight streaming through the trees, the true colors of nature, the way the breeze blows a lock of hair as a groom kisses his bride, I love to see her photography. As a makeup artist I’m also interested in seeing the photos of the faces of the bridal party so I can make sure my craft translates well in pictures, and appreciate when a photographer shares them with me. I still remember a photo from a wedding that was simply the couple seated at their sweetheart table at dinner and photographed from behind through a rustic grey barn door; you couldn’t see their faces but it was so visually beautiful with the grey rough wood juxtaposed with the back of the elegant lace gown as they were holding hands during the reception I still haven’t forgotten it. It was a moment no one else would ever have seen and perhaps the couple may have other forgotten, except Jessica captured that little moment in time. I feel that a couple will treasure the beautiful naturally posed photos she does, but will also especially remember their joy of their wedding day with a photo like that. Jessica is personable, kind, punctual and helps the couples to enjoy the photo taking session. I can’t wait to work with her again because she is so fun, you don’t have to wait a long time for the edited photos, and her work is gorgeous!”
