“Anica is fantastic. Her work is beautiful and she helped me and my bridal party to feel confident and pampered on the day of the wedding. I chose to do a trial before the wedding on Anica's recommendation, and I am so glad that I did! I did not realize my skin would have sensitivity issues to some of the products so it was great to find that out BEFORE it was my wedding day. Anica work around these sensitivities and created a look I am still so in love with. The pictures I attached are intentionally spaced throughout the day to show that the makeup application held up throughout photos, ceremony, and the after party. Not only is Anica talented, but she was able to provide council on what type of makeup to choose based on my/other recipient's desires and complexion needs. She was even willing to apply false lashes to one of my bridesmaids, last minute, who did not choose to book a makeup application! I cannot recommend Be Pretty enough!”

“Lindsey was incredible and very easy to work with. I don’t wear make up aside from special occasions. I was seeking a natural look so I could look and feel like myself but better. She absolutely nailed it. I felt so beautiful and I got so many compliments on how amazing my make up was. I also really loved my hair. Lindsey and her team were ahead of schedule which also really set us up for success to be able to kind of relax and ease into the day. She also did a makeup and hair trial for my mom so that she could also know what she wanted ahead of time. We don’t have our professional photos back yet, but hopefully you can still see how beautiful her work is in the pictures we do have. I truly could not recommend Lindsey enough. If she could teach me how to do makeup, I’d also pay for a class in a heartbeat.”

“Working with True Vermont Beauty was wonderful from start to finish. Liesel was communicative and professional in her response to my initial inquiry, and the survey/questionnaire that was sent to me helped me and my bridesmaids start thinking about what we wanted style-wise. Andrea and Karla did both my bridal trial and were our day of artists – and they were both truly wonderful. For the trial – I was offered a variety of options and I really felt like the look I ended up with was something that was truly me and that would last all day (I'm an easy crier). The team also provided great logistics info like start times and when to be ready so that we had a realistic timeline to get everything done for a first look at 2PM. They also worked really well with my florist – who was providing a floral hairpiece, and worked the floral arrival time into the timeline. Day of – Andrea and Karla were wonderful. They moved through 7 hair services and 5 makeup services, they even ran early, and everyone looked so beautiful! They were also super fun, and we had a great time chatting throughout the morning. The mood was great to say the least. My hair stayed in place until the end of the night when I took it out around midnight, and the same thing with my makeup. Everything stayed exactly as it was, no movement, no running, no smearing – which was just incredible because not only did I walk around in some light rain but it was also quite warm AND I cried several times. So – absolute kudos to this team, I can’t recommend them highly enough!”

“I got married on 10/18/2025 and hired Beauty Boston for hair and makeup. I found Beauty Boston on The Knot and was drawn in by the volume of positive reviews for the company. I utilized the online inquiry form to reach out, and Marissa responded right away with pricing information and availability. I appreciated that I was able to do a trial before committing to booking anything and loved that the company offered both makeup and hair options. I was assigned Andi as a make up artist and Jordan as a hair stylist. I had my trial with Andi, and she did a fantastic job. She listened to what I truly wanted and was very adaptable when I requested small tweaks. She kept track of all the products she used and all of my requests really well because she replicated the look perfectly 9 months later on my wedding day. While I had a lifelong friend do my own hair for my wedding, Jordan did hair for my 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. All of their styles came out beautiful and lasted the whole night (my sister even wore her look to brunch the next day and it still looked amazing)! During the planning process, Marissa was extremely helpful in coordinating timelines and pricing. I loved that the artists were able to come on site to the hotel where we got ready and they even brought their own chairs for us to use. On the wedding day, both Andi and Jordan were extremely punctual and kind. They really both did a fantastic job and kept us on schedule. We even had time at the end for two bridesmaids who had not requested make up to get lashes put on for a small fee at the last second. I truly could not have picked a better company for my wedding beauty and am so grateful to Andi and Jordan for making me and my bridal party look so good on my big day!”

“Jennifer was the makeup artist for a wedding this summer where I was a bridesmaid. I cannot say enough wonderful things about how amazing we all looked!! The compliments we all received were endless! As an older bridesmaid, (closer to 50 than 30) I was worried about looking too overdone. This was not the case at all. I looked just as great as those in their 20s! Jennifer was very professional, she even helped out with the photographer and hair stylist.
