Hi! I’m Katie, owner of SHEL Salon in Portsmouth, NH and a licensed cosmetologist with a passion for creating soft, timeless, and personalized beauty looks. I specialize in wedding hair and makeup and work closely with each bride to bring their vision to life. Since it’s mostly me providing services, you get a calm, friendly, and customized experience from trial to “I do.” My goal is simple: to help you feel confident, radiant, and completely yourself on your wedding day—beauty, just for you.
I’m a salon and bridal stylist who pours my whole heart into creating personalized, feel-good beauty. At SHEL, every color, lash map, and style is custom because I believe your look should fit you perfectly. My studio is warm, welcoming, and all about making you feel confident and cared for. On wedding days, I bring a calm, organized, detail-loving energy to keep your morning smooth, fun, and unforgettable. I truly love what I do, and it shows in every connection, every moment, and every bit of glam I create.

Katie was incredible with my hair on my wedding day. She made what I imagined a reality. Not only was it absolutely beautiful but it was also extremely comfortable. She made getting ready for my wedding a breeze and showed up right on time! Have to give extra credit for her being able to manage my crazy frizzy and curly hair. The style lasted all day and night no frizz in sight!
