Hi! I am award winning makeup artist and facialist serving New England and South Florida. A makeup artist since 2005, I specialize in makeup for weddings, television and runway. I love helping brides look like elevated versions of themselves and I believe that your makeup journey should be one of the most enjoyable and stress-free parts of the wedding process. I am skilled, professional and bring a calming presence to your special day. I am new to ZOLA and building my presence on this site. ZOLA doesn't allow outside links or mention of other vendor sites, however If you google me you will find I have many reviews out there ;)

My experience with wedding makeup has led to runway work at New York Fashion Week and New York Bridal Fashion Week with international designers including Berta and Pnina Tornai of TLC Network's show Say Yes to the Dress. I have made up many notable faces including former president Barack Obama, and famed Cellist Yo-Yo Ma and I find just as much joy and put just as much passion into working on brides and their families. I work with traditional and airbrush makeup and am also available for branding shoots, makeup lessons, and destination weddings.

Amazing
From our first conversation, Alyssa was quick to respond and easy to work with, which made planning our wedding day so much smoother. On the morning of the wedding, things got hectic, but Alyssa and the hairstylist Olivia she brought along handled everything with such grace and skill. They worked together seamlessly to make sure I looked and felt beautiful as I walked down the aisle. The final look was exactly what I wanted, and I couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. Alyssa's talent and calm energy made such a difference on our special day. I'll be booking her for all my future events, wedding or not!

Alyssa is spectacular! She is responsive and prompt with communication. She listened to vision and made recommendations and guidance for how to make me feel and look beautiful on my wedding day. My makeup stayed perfectly throughout the day and into the night and truly could not have felt more beautiful. I’m so thankful I trusted her with my face on my wedding day!

Perfect choice and accommodated me last min
Alyssa McKenzie arrived right on time and delivered exactly what we were hoping for on our wedding day. Perfection!
I had the pleasure of having Alyssa McKenzie do my makeup for my absolutely perfect wedding, which wouldn’t of been possible without her! She was warm, kind, and incredibly professional through my whole experience. Her friendly presence instantly put me at ease on such an emotional day. Beyond her wonderful personality, she is truly creative and unbelievably talented, creating a look that was even more beautiful than I imagined and I felt amazing! I had full confidence I was going to do my makeup myself until the week of my wedding. Then I panicked and realized that I don’t know how to do makeup.
