“Summit Events and DJ Sean Markland were amazing to work with! Do you want to have the most epic dance party of your life at your wedding? Do you want your guests on the dance floor all night? Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

He truly crafted us an amazing playlist with throwbacks that brought up great memories with my girls and family. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“Brian truly went above and beyond for our wedding day. He was so flexible during the planning process when I was having trouble making up my mind and offered suggestions to help make the day run smoothly (and it did!). I feel like I'm pretty picky about music and was anxious about how everything would flow together, but Brian did such an amazing job. “I am a professional wedding coordinator turned queer bride and I was worried about finding a good DJ for our wedding. Many wedding DJs give me second hand embarrassment and create a cringey homecoming-y vibe. Also, we had a guest count of just 47 so we were worried about finding a DJ who could get the dance floor moving with such a small group. Frank was everything we were looking for and more!!! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

“The Hook Club made our wedding dreams come true. My husband is Dominican and I am from New England, and therefore we were looking for a bilingual band that could play a very wide range of music - from American wedding classics, to Pop, to Reggaeton, to Merengue, to Bachata — and a group that could MC the evening in Spanish and English, and bring the energy to keep the party going. We went with Hook Club’s 7 piece DJ Band, and they were above and beyond fantastic. They curated a setlist that somehow, despite the wide range of music, flowed together and was cohesive. I can’t express enough how talented they are vocally, instrumentally, professionally, and as performers. The dance floor was absolutely lit; even my brother who was on crutches and had a torn labrum couldn’t stay away. It makes me tear up thinking about how much energy, positivity, and happiness they brought to our night — they will always have a special place in our hearts. They are also true professionals - the planning process was easy, they were prompt in all communication, and on the day of they handled venue-related hiccups with grace. They were the first vendor to arrive to ensure a thorough set up, and the last to leave. They are truly such a special, one of a kind group, and I cannot recommend them enough. Of all the many decisions we made in planning our wedding, choosing THC was by far the best decision of them all. Although our wedding was back in August; our friends and family are still talking about The Hook Club, exlusively referring to them as “ the best wedding band they have ever heard before”. We had a fairly diverse crowd in terms of age, background, taste in music and their ability to please that wide range of people is a testament to their talent. THANK YOU TO THE HOOK CLUB !!!”

Brandon and Kellie were more than helpful during the wedding planning process. Signature DJs periodically sent me emails to remind me of anticipated steps to keep me on track. I had already booked my Day-Of Coordinators, but had I not I definitely would have booked Kellie! On the day of our wedding, Signature DJs arrived early and easily set up. Meredith with the photo booth was amazing! Our guests loved the customized photobooth strips! “Our experience with Jeff was excellent from start to finish, and we highly recommend him for any event. After contacting numerous DJs, we found that many were slow to respond, lacked transparent pricing, or spent more time trying to upsell us on extras we didn't want than learning about our vision. Jeff was exactly the opposite. Communication was prompt and effortless, his pricing was fair and transparent, and he offered everything we were looking for, including sound systems for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as attending our rehearsal to ensure the ceremony music went smoothly. The true measure of a great wedding vendor, though, is how they handle the unexpected. During our reception, a miscommunication left our wedding coordinator absent for much of the evening. Without missing a beat, Jeff stepped in to help keep everything on track, coordinating announcements for speeches, cake cutting, our first dance, and a group photo. He struck exactly the low-key, relaxed tone we wanted and quietly kept the evening moving behind the scenes. Jeff was professional, dependable, and genuinely invested in making our wedding a success.
