“I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. “Julian at Limelight and DJ Rashaun were absolutely perfect for us. We knew the vibe we wanted — and, frankly, it was a little off the beaten path since we wanted a bit of a 1930s feeling. We thought we were doomed, though, because we're terrible at selecting exact songs and had no sense of how the music fit into the overall schedule of the night. We hadn't thought past our ceremony! Julian kept things positive, steered us when we had no idea what to do, but gave us space to put our stamp on our evening when he could sense we had ideas burbling. He was helpful, positive and always prompt without ever being pushy, and so many of our favorite moments came out of the things he got us to think about. Rashaun was awesome too. He took our weird list of preferred songs and turned it into an amazing night of love, dining, and dancing. “I have nothing but amazing things to say about Cherrywood Ensembles. They are just such a talented, kind, and well-mannered group of individuals. I booked Cherrywood Ensembles for my wedding and cocktail hour. I purchased the quartet and added a piano for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour, we had the quartet play! I also booked their DJ from 5-9 pm for the reception! I loved everything about their services! I read the reviews online and noticed that some people were uncomfortable that the quartet didn’t come to the rehearsal, but after talking to Brian, the owner, I had no doubts that they were going to perform perfectly at the ceremony! All I did on my end was give him specific details about the ceremony (song I wanted to walk to down, the start and finish time) and they NAILED it on the day of the wedding! I purchased the 2.5 hour package for the quartet and gave them a timeline of when the ceremony was to start, end, and when they should head over to the reception venue to play for cocktail hour. When I arrived at the venue, I was in tears at how well they were playing my favorite songs! On top of their talent, they even stayed until 5 pm (when cocktail hour ended). They are truly such a huge blessing and most definitely worth every penny. I have absolutely no regrets purchasing Cherrywood Ensembles to play our favorite songs on our special day. For the reception, we had Nick as our DJ and he was absolutely the BEST! He was so fun and engaged with our guests so well! The kids LOVED him! Nick was amazing and asked Jack and I what WE wanted! Again, I gave Nick some intricate details and AGAIN, Cherrywood Ensembles NAILED it. I will always think about this day and how much of an impact Cherrywood Ensembles had on our wedding day! Every time I listen to the ceremony music, I get goosebumps and instantly in TEARS! Thank you so much for everything, Cherrywood Ensembles!! And if you are on the fence about purchasing Cherrywood Ensembles for your quartet/DJ, please be assured that they are just absolutely AMAZING. I have no regrets at all. We kicked off a video call with co-owner, Matt, who spent time getting to know us personally, broke down their services, how everything works and answered all of our questions. We truly felt like we were in good hands. Our biggest priority for our wedding was the DJ. We love dancing and listening to music and we wanted someone who would keep everyone on the dance floor. DJ Jeff was referred to us by a family friend who raved about him! And he did not disappoint! About a month out from the wedding we hopped on a video call with Jeff to go over our vision of the day, songs we would like to be played and he also took the time to know us as a couple. DJ Jeff exceeded all expectations! He played one hit after another and made it extremely hard to leave the dance floor. “CJ was a life saver for our wedding! Starting with meeting him for the first time, he was super understanding and helped guide us with what our ideal wedding sounded like. He was super approachable and responsive to our questions. When we sent him our playlists for what we wanted him to play he went over each song and made sure he had the correct song by the correct artist which was super helpful. Now for where he saved our wedding! Our venue made a mistake of using our props for a wedding the night before but when CJ found out, he offered to use his cold sparks for us which was absolutely amazing! He kept the party alive and the fun flowing! We had so many guests come up to us during and after asking us if where we found CJ and loved his work. CJ made the soundtrack of our best day ever amazing.”
