He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). “Ralph was the best vendor I have ever worked with for a Photo Booth. He was communicative, professional and timely in his responses. I fell ill just before the event and he upped his communication to make sure I could rest easy that the event would go well. It was an outdyevent so I provided him with a pop up canopy for shade. He came prepared as the event was poolside and he managed selfies even for patrons who had been in the pool. I was given a chance to choose the background and song for the selfies and he was timely in providing the samples prior to the event. Money well spent and I would not hesitate to use his services again!”

He listened to everything we asked for, customized our ceremony songs and reception perfectly and he has an amazing energy, he’s really funny and helped make our party so much fun. Our wedding video was awesome and we also got the photobooth. Splurge and get the printouts with the attendant and the book. It was worth every penny. The guests loved it and we have a book with their pictures and signatures to look back on. Overall everything was a great experience and Rod Bell is also reasonably priced. “This review is way overdue, but I made sure to come back to leave it because this band deserves it so much! They tore it up all night, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that our guests were raving about the band. Every wedding I've been to ha had a brief awkward period where everyone is playing chicken over who will start dancing first, but that wasn't a problem with this music. One of our guests was a former guitarist for Blood, Sweat, and Tears and even HE was raving about the band! So anyway: these guys rock, their catalog is vast, and Elliott is AMAZING to work with. He was right there with us brainstorming songs for the setlist, and when there was a brief issue with the power at the venue he handled it like a pro. If you're looking for a ripping band for your wedding or event then these guys 100% fit the bill, and I truly couldn't recommend them more”
