The View at Bluemont
Rating: 4.6 (9 reviews)
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $30,000

The View at Bluemont is a romantic wedding venue surrounded by vineyards and wineries in Bluemont, Virginia. You can fall in love with the views of Loudoun Valley to Tysons Corner and the rest of Washington, DC. You and your nearest and dearest can relax, unwind, and more with professional staff, luxury services, and spacious settings that is not out of style.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Flexible event spaces
  • Offers a sense of luxury
  • Classic, vintage atmosphere

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • Dance floor not included
We got married in Spring 2025 at The View at Bluemont (TVB) and could not have been happier with our experience. Like most people we thought the pictures of the venue were beautiful, and it was even better in person. TVB was the first (and only) venue we visited in our venue shopping. We had our tour with Bryan and you immediately got the sense of someone with a lot of integrity but also professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He was open and transparent about the packages and pricing, and there weren’t any surprises or unexpected expenses. One of the nice things about TVB is its Bring Your Own Alcohol policy. For our wedding of 200 people, we probably saved about 4k-5k. From our brief experience looking at prices for other venues, TVB was competitive especially for the quality and how easy the planning process was. We only had to focus on the fun things like the DJ, tasting the food, and picking out the layout/colors. We were set up with Nicole as our wedding coordinator, and we feel like Nicole was made for this. Just amazing. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, friends would ask if we were starting to get stressed, and we’d look at each other and shrug, and say everything seemed to be going along smoothly. Nicole was working behind the scenes though with all our vendors and making sure they were on schedule and taken care of. My uncle - the officiant - had done hundreds of weddings and said Nicole was the most delightful person he’s ever worked with. Even when our breezy (I.e., windy) day knocked over our personal decor or we were having family shenanigans, Nicole (and her partner, Sam) were always level-headed, gracious, and kept the show moving along. At one point, she gave her earpiece to the groom so he could talk to the bride before we had our first look. It was a really fun moment. We could go on and on about how organized and detail-oriented she is, but there’s not enough room here. Just a genuinely amazing person, and we love her. A couple other points we loved about our experience: - We rented the lodge for two nights and the manor for the night of the wedding, and one of our favorite moments was hanging out in the groom’s suite with our bridal party after the wedding ended. - Dede and her catering team were awesome. Weeks after the wedding, co-workers were still commenting about how amazing everything tasted but also how knowledgeable every server and bartender was about the drinks and food (including the recipes and ingredients). Just a really professional and pleasant team. We were bust dancing all night, and Dede packed our cake so we could eat it for a midnight snack -The TVB team set out two plates of food for us in the groom’s suite so we could eat and have a private moment together after the ceremony (and during dinner). The chef also came out and spoke to our parents and welcomed them. There were a million other small gestures, courtesies, and accommodations by the staff from top to bottom. For this review, we really thought hard about whether we would have changed anything or had constructive feedback. But there wasn’t - we would’ve done it exactly the same way again. It is a high-quality, professional team and production with one of the most beautiful venues in Virginia. We’re eternally grateful to the team for making our experience so fun and memorable.

Absoluetly LOVED this venue! The moment I first stepped on the property, I fell in love and *knew* this was the place my husband and I were going to get married. Angela and her staff set everything up just the way I wanted it, and it went so smoothly! There are *so* many different options of locations to have the ceremony. Due Sorelle provides plenty of tables and chairs, and the staff will set them up for you - one less thing for you to have to worry about on your big day! I also loved that we had access to the barn the night before the wedding so I could set up the reception and not have to worry about finding someone to do that the morning of. Angela was a bit confusing to communicate with at times? Just some random things here and there - asking for details, scheduling things, and some either miscommunication or lack thereof. She was super sweet! I had just wished the communication process were a little smoother. Overall I loved Due Sorelle and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

My husband and I are beyond impressed with—and truly grateful for—how our wedding day turned out. Lauren made what can be an incredibly stressful event to plan feel fun, exciting, and completely manageable. We paid for additional planning support, and Lauren went far above and beyond our expectations to ensure we had everything we wanted for the day. Her creativity helped us to think outside the box and brought ideas to life that we didn’t think were even possible. Our guests were surprised with axe throwing and a petting zoo, and the kids enjoyed the onsite bounce house and incredible playground. The venue was perfect for hosting families with children, and thanks to Lauren’s thoughtful planning to keep kids entertained, several relatives with children told us how relaxing and enjoyable the day was for them. The Mulberry provided happy hour appetizers and a dessert table—everything was delicious—and the drink selections were perfectly curated. While we could have paid extra for an additional alcohol license, we were more than happy with the options already provided. Everything was beautiful, seamless, and truly perfect. We absolutely loved our day and are so happy with how everything turned out. We are incredibly thankful to Lauren and The Mulberry for their dedication, creativity, and support in making our wedding unforgettable.

Rixey Manor is obviously beautiful, romantic, cozy, and everything else we were looking for in a venue. But Isadora, Grace, and the entire Rixey team were the real reason we chose the manor for our wedding venue. We toured so many other places and this team is the only one that made us feel like they cared about us and our day being perfect, and that rang true once wedding day rolled around. If you are considering Rixey Manor, book it. They will make sure your wedding day is the best day of your lives! We were there from Friday to Sunday and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!!!

Julie, Scott, and their team made our wedding day perfect. From the first site visit and throughout the planning process, they were amazing communicators. The venue has gorgeous outdoor spaces for the ceremony and cocktail reception. The indoor space is flexible for a reception with a dance floor. There are chairs for both the ceremony and reception as well as tables. We chose to have a June wedding and when the temps entered the upper 90s, we were grateful for the A/C reception space. Even better, there are two suites that the wedding party can use to make for a seamless process getting ready. We enjoyed our experience so very much. Lastly, the bathrooms there were also excellent and let’s be real, that’s a crucial component for any good party.

Our wedding day at Keswick Vineyards was perfect from start to finish - not an exaggeration. Everyone on staff made the entire day seamless, so we were able to truly just arrive and enjoy the day. When weather caused a hiccup in our day, our cocktail hour was moved under the tent no problem, drinks were brought to the wedding party while we waited out the storm, and we were able to keep to our schedule due to Cindy and team's fantastic planning. The venue itself was beautiful - the pool, house, and vineyard made the perfect photo backdrop, the carriage house where we got ready was the perfect secluded spot for our wedding parties, and I just truly didn't have to think of a single thing. The inclusions to the venue rental (tent, chairs, tables, etc.) made planning that much easier, along with vendor recommendations, and Cindy and team are true professionals who know what they're doing and will ensure your day is just about you and your love story. We were also lucky to have Cindy as our month of coordinator, which if you're lucky enough to snag one of her limited spots, DO IT! Going into our wedding, I truly felt so stress-free and like everything was out of my hands and handled. I truly cannot recommend getting married here enough, and it makes me so happy that we'll be able to share a bottle of Keswick wine together each anniversary. Just truly can't fit how wonderful this whole team and venue is in a single review. I am so grateful our wedding day was so special and perfect thanks to this place. This is a dream venue.

Mary Neifert was the wedding coordinator for my daughter's wedding at Chisholm Vineyards. As someone who has worked in the service industry many years ago, I know just how much it took to pull off what Mary pulled off with my daughter's wedding. It is no small feat to deal with so many people - from the bride and groom - to the bridal party to the vendors to the guests to your staff, etc. The organization it takes, the attention to details, the discipline, the patience, the ability to roll and adjust as things changed, to be able to think outside of the box, to be available for the many questions that the bride and mother of the bride had along the way, to corralling a very large wedding party and all of the many other people who were floating around - Mary made everything go flawlessly and gave my daughter and her now husband and myself so much peace from the very beginning to the finish line. Mary even calmed my husband and gave him so much peace as he was preparing to officiate our daughter's wedding. He even said Mary was a calming presence and helped him to see a solution when he couldn't see the forest for the trees. He was having problems with his tuxedo studs and Mary very quickly helped solve the problem. Mary's thoroughness in everything she did was incredible. She truly has a gift for what she does. I know Mary was working well into the night (well past midnight and then we met her the next morning to get the remaining vases we left so I don't think she slept much!) to clean up and put everything back where it needed to go. She gave 100% of herself throughout this process and it was very evident that she truly and genuinely cared about the bride and the groom, and she protected them when they needed it most. Her professionalism and drive for excellence is unmatched. I would highly recommend Mary and Chisholm Vineyards to any bride and groom! I really do want everyone to know what a valuable asset she is!

Rivercrest was so amazing - it is definitely more on the "raw" side of things but it is beautiful! The mountain backdrops made for great pictures, and the available housing on property was so convenient. We had the venue for the entire weekend which is definitely the package to get as we were able to spend 3 days with our closest friends and family. We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully maintained grounds that made for the most amazing backdrop to our special day. Special thanks to the venue coordinator, Katie, who made the planning process so easy and stress-free. She was attentive, responsive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was always available to answer any questions I had before the wedding. We met a month prior to the day to discuss the timeline of the day which helped make the day stress-free! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a dream wedding location. It was truly a day to remember! We chose Food for Thought, the in-house caterer for Earlyhouse and the food was nothing short of spectacular. Montfair was the first wedding venue my husband and I visited and we immediately fell in love with it. Private, understated but very well kept up, naturally gorgeous, and diverse in its landscapes, Montfair allowed us to create an experience that felt worlds away and truly magical. We held our ceremony down by the pond and guests could watch the sun set over the changing trees and water as they had drinks. The lodge feels intimate and cozy at night; the dance floor was expansive and welcoming; and guests who wanted fresh air could enjoy the bonfire Enjoying time with our families who stayed in the cabins the next morning was a special bonus. The team is resourceful and warm. This is a precious place!

When planning our wedding, we knew we wanted to prioritize spending as much time as possible with family and friends. We had 130 guests and 80 guests stayed with us in cabins. The location in Charlottesville also allowed easy access for guests who preferred to stay in a hotel. Tina was fantastic to work with and met us on two different Saturdays prior to the wedding so we could look at the venue. Shuttling guests from parking to the top of camp was much easier than we expected. We really enjoyed having full use of the dining hall where we ate breakfasts and lunches, and being able to use many of the camp amenities was awesome (picnic tables, fire pit, previous wedding goods, etc) The campfire circle with benches, pavilion, and an open space for cocktail hour are all very close together making for smooth transitions throughout the day. Our band was able to set up in the Pavilion and sounded awesome, and there was plenty of parking for catering as well. If you are looking for a camp-y wedding, we absolutely recommend Camp Holiday Trails.

The staff is so kind and so helpful, the entire process was honestly seamlessly! From the moment my husband I stepped on property for our tour, Debbie and Clint made us feel right at home. The grounds are just absolutely stunning! I love and will cherish this venue for life! I also cannot stop gushing to everyone about Connie, our coordinator. We had an absolutely incredible wedding at Eastwood in September of 2024. The views are stunning, the tent is so special and you cannot beat the location. Highly, highly recommend. The team at Eastwood is spectacular! Emma's partnership and guidance throughout the process was unparalleled. She took us up to the tent/terrace several times (more times than she needed to) as we figured out our vision for the wedding. Having the cottage on location was incredibly helpful. We were not only able to get organized in the days leading up, but also had a space for people to gather / our flower girls were able to sneak down and go down to bed a bit early too. We are so thrilled that we had our wedding at Eastwood!
