Rivercrest Farm pairs the beauty of the Blue Ridge and the Shenandoah River with modern southern relaxation. ​Our event center combines a unique blend of soft white light and weathered wood, gorgeous sweeping views on multiple ceremony sites, and bohemian touches that blend beautifully to create memorable and romantic weekends nestled deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains. With multiple unique ceremony sites, lots of outdoor space and a gorgeous loft, Rivercrest offers the space stretch out and relax - enjoy cocktails and dancing on the courtyard and have games and couches on the back side for a relaxing evening. We offer on-site accommodations for up to 24 guests, and exclusive, multi-day access to the barn for decorating, rehearsals, and even rehearsal dinners. Our goal is to provide the perfect place to take the stress out of planning any event. Peace of mind and togetherness in breathtaking surroundings is truly what makes us a wedding escape.

    Fantastic Memories and Beautiful Views

    Theres not enough amazing things to say about Rivercrest! Scot and Bridget were absolutely fantastic and helped us every step of the way. They were responsive and flexible and so kind to help us make a plan and suggestions for when the weather was questionable. Everything was perfect and we are still getting compliments on how beautiful the property is. We are so grateful for them and will always recommend them!

    Best Day at the Best Place!

    Rivercrest Farm and Event Center was a dream come true for our big day. From the beginning tour till our drive away from our weekend, the staff at Rivercrest went above and beyond to help make our wedding day the best day ever. They were available for conversations and tours all throughout the year we had them booked and responded in such a timely manner. Scot, the owner, was there helping staff the day of our wedding and checked in periodically to make sure we didn’t need anything and to make sure that our weekend and day was running as smoothly as possible and exactly the way we wanted. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and has multiple ceremony sites to choose from to make the property your very own. They also have very affordable package deals that fit to whatever style you want for your wedding day. I couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else.

    Best Venue Ever!

    I don’t think I can say enough amazing things about Bridget and the staff at Rivercrest Farm and Events. With my research and talking to other venues, Rivercrest provides a unique opportunity for couples for many reasons - multiple Airbnb’s onsite, ability to decorate the venue yourself, having the venue for 2.5 days, the open mindedness to creative ideas, and no one else has Bridget!! When my now husband and I drove up on the property, we loved how quiet and beautiful the area was. But it was Bridget who sold us on the venue. Bridget is one of the friendliest, supportive, and most enthusiastic person - the best combination of what you want for an event coordinator. We looked at another place before seeing Rivercrest and we heard a lot of “no’s”- “No we wouldn’t do this or couldn’t do this”. So when we met Bridget, it was a breath of fresh air. When we told her our ideas and vision, it was a lot of “YES!” or “we can figure it out”. If there was something she wasn’t sure we could do, she would reach out to the owners or provide other solutions. Some different ideas - Toby Keith tribute, a The Office theme wedding video, the groom/groomsmen coming into the ceremony to Motley Crue, and bridal party flip cup entrance. We decided Rivercrest was our venue before we even got back to our vehicle to leave. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, Bridget was very easy to reach and communicate with! Our 30 day walkthrough was easy and Bridget helped us see our vision come to life. Within the one month leading up to the wedding, Bridget would reach out to give updates and was flexible with any changes in our timeline. She was able to communicate to our vendors and be an advocate for us. Rivercrest has vendors on a recommended (not required list). We got our DJ (DJ Chuck) and caterer (Crossroads Catering and Cafe) off the list which were both fantastic!! Rivercrest has great connections! On wedding day, everything went smoothly!! Her staff helped with getting our older guests food and kept an eye on them throughout. Everything was set up how we visioned! Scott the owner was also helping out! Couldn’t be more thankful to the staff of Rivercrest for making our day so perfect!! All of our guests had only great things to say about the venue. No complaints all around. We also rented 2 of the Airbnb’s which are onsite. Both Airbnb’s were super cute and clean! The Airbnb’s were a great option to have all of our friends stay with us. Bonus with being dog friendly!! Rivercrest allowed us to have a wedding weekend and not just a 5 hour day to spend with our loved ones. We recommend Rivercrest for all couples no matter how far you live! They deserve all the praise and the travel. 100% worth it.

    One of the best venues to work with!

    Rivercrest is one of THE BEST venues I have shot at! I am a traveling wedding photographer and by far Rivercrest is one of the easiest, most beautiful to work at! The staff is so welcoming and have an amazing energy! You need something? Boom they already have it! Throughout the wedding day they were always one step ahead of me and great at communicating! If you are a couple looking for a venue? THIS IS YOUR VENUE!

    We want to do it all over again!

    We got Married at the farm on October 7th 2023 and that day was the most incredible day of our lives! Everyone was beyond helpful the staff is beyond amazing! Let me just tell you, YOU need that day of coordinator, Bridget is the best, I repeat, THE BEST she did a phenomenal job! The farm is beautiful and over super accommodating. We also stayed in two of the homes on the property and made it a weekend event! The homes are just what you need! We would get married here once a year if we could! I do not have enough words to express how amazing it was! Just go! Have your event at Rivercrest! Run, get married!
