At Montlaurel, we welcome couples to celebrate love with intention in the peaceful foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge. Our 28-acre home is designed for elopements and micro-weddings—intimate gatherings that feel relaxed, personal, and meaningful. As an all-inclusive venue, we provide ceremony and reception spaces, tables, chairs, dinnerware, glassware, and photography—everything needed for a seamless day. With the details covered, you can focus on what matters most: being present with the people you love. Montlaurel isn’t just a venue—it’s our home, and we care for every wedding with warmth and hospitality. We are proudly LGBTQ+ inclusive and affirming, because every love story deserves to be celebrated. Wild Meadow

The Montlaurel meadow is filled with native plants and is a thriving habitat.

The mowed section of grass will seat up to 35 guests. Your ceremony will have views of the open meadow, tall grasses, and the forest in the distance. Notable Features: Round 7ft arbor Sounds Microphone Although there is no power source at the Meadow, sound is available through our battery powered speaker.

Hillside Arbor

Settled in a natural arbor with paired trees, the sloping meadow has seating for up to 50 guests.

Sunset is directly behind you at the end of the aisle, and the light filtering through the trees in late evening is magical. The neighboring cows might even stop by for a visit!
