“We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. We had a few special requests from our processional song, to passing out glow sticks and other favors, to having a surprise musical guest for the father daughter dance and all were managed great by John. John brought along Guy as his assistant/our second DJ and he was amazing as well. Both were ready to make sure we had everything we needed for the entire day and were professional with how they handled everything. “When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). During my search, his business popped up on IG. I went through his IG profile and knew he was the one I wanted. I sent his profile to my husband and he sold. What also sold us was all the extra services he had! Everything all in one place. In all I booked the sparklers, smoke machine, 360 Photo Booth, an Emcee, and gobo lights. My first dance, OMG. “DJ Motiv was extraordinary. I was so impressed by his professionalism, communication, and willingness to make sure our night was perfect. I was skeptical at first with some reviews mentioning that the DJ’s weren’t playing the songs they chose. I immediately reached out and that was informed that it would not be an issue. ALL of our chosen music was played, with some song requests of guests (with bride’s approval, per DJ motiv - loved that). DJ Motiv checked in with us constantly, even to make sure our food was at our table, if we needed drinks, if the music was going well, and if there was anything he could do. He was going above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. I even threw in special requests during my wedding, including him stopping my parent dance half way (on purpose) as if the music turned off, to take the mic and give a short speech. He did it phenomenally. I had a game request, with him being the commentator and director of, and he took that role and ran with it. The wedding guests LOVED him. I have nothing negative to say about his services. Even the photobooth was done great! I also had a custom sign made, with our new last name, and it was perfect! Such a great item to be able keep, and you get a year warranty on it. Anyway, I highly recommend this DJ!! He MADE our wedding perfect. Everyone loved him.”

The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). “My husband and I had one non-negotiable for our wedding - to have a live band. We went to the BVT showcase and immediately fell in love with Experience. They were a little bit out of our budget, but we decided to book them anyways and cut back on other things and let me tell you ...they were worth every single penny!!! Luke is the nicest, coolest guy and so great to work with!! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!!
