Fun facts - I went to school for fashion design yep little did I know camera never left my sight. I’m obsessed over anything crafty. I have a crazy parrot who gives me a facial every time I am at my computer editing haha. I love traveling so much. Oh, and there’s a 100+% chance I will dance at your wedding and possibly shed a tear.

Since 2008, I’ve found myself as a professional photographer who strives to capture life, in all of its twists + turns, candidly. In addition to taking pictures, I am: the owner of The Made Fest, a handmade + vintage festival; in love with my husband; a co-founder of Smile Politely, a Champaign-Urbana local culture magazine and The Pygmalion Festival; a master gardener; an epicurean; and a mother. I am a feminist and a LGBTIAQ ally.

I'm a caretaker by nature. (Enneagram fan? I'm a 2w3) I love to laugh and am often told I have a calming presence. My friends tell me I have a huge heart and am a good listener. Except my husband says I am a horrible listener but I think that's just to him! I love cats, craft beer, burlesque and radical self care!

As much as we are tech/gear heads with regards to equipment, we also know that the greatest piece of equipment any photographer can have is his/her brain.
