    Bad Experience

    I want to share my personal experience with Aubrey & Brandon Visuals while planning our October 22, 2027 wedding. My fiancé and I chose this company because of the beautiful, polished, high end photography displayed in their portfolio. We signed a 9,000 photography and videography contract and paid a 4,500 reservation retainer, trusting them to capture one of the most important days of our lives. Unfortunately, our engagement session at Newfields left us extremely disappointed. Although the photographs were delivered, we had significant concerns about harsh lighting, shadows, exposure, posing, camera angles, composition, and overall quality. The results did not reflect the standard represented in their portfolio. The session was scheduled during midday despite our availability at other times. We relied on their professional judgment regarding scheduling and lighting. Location restrictions also limited access to areas with more favorable conditions. Additionally, the session began approximately an hour later than expected due to her arriving late. When we raised our concerns, Aubrey acknowledged that the lighting conditions were not ideal and that she could have better communicated the scheduling and location limitations beforehand. She offered to re edit the photographs and provide a reshoot, which we appreciated. However, the experience had already affected our confidence in trusting them with our wedding. An engagement session can be repeated, but a wedding ceremony, first look, and other once in a lifetime moments cannot. We communicated our concerns directly and explained why we no longer felt comfortable proceeding. We recognized that the company had time into our session so rather than requesting a full refund, we proposed a mutual termination and a partial refund that would allow the company to retain compensation for the services already provided. We felt this was a reasonable compromise, particularly because our wedding was one year away and the majority of the contracted services had not been performed. The company maintained that the entire retainer was nonrefundable. After we questioned the agreement, Aubrey informed us that she would consult an attorney. We subsequently received a letter from the company’s attorney stating that the company had no obligation or intention to refund any portion of our payment. Our request for a partial refund has been denied, and the dispute remains unresolved. We understand that our contract characterizes the retainer as liquidated damages. However, we question whether retaining the entire amount is reasonable, particularly given the substantial advance notice and services that will not be performed. We feel they are treating this as a penalty more than liquidated damages which does not make that enforceable by Indiana law. What disappointed us most wasn’t simply receiving photographs we didn’t love. It was losing confidence in the professionals we trusted to document our wedding and being unable to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. I encourage other couples to carefully review their cancellation provisions and ask questions about scheduling, lighting, portfolio consistency, and how concerns will be handled before making such a significant investment with Aubrey and Brandon. Wedding photographs preserve moments that cannot be recreated\. For us, trust and confidence in the people capturing those memories are just as important as the contract itself

    The absolute best part of our wedding!!

    Aubrey was hands down such a joy to work with. We are so grateful to have had her capture our perfect day! She ensure that I was calm, understood the timeline of the day, and made sure there was plenty of time to get all the pictures done we wanted! I felt so comfortable with her and knew she would capture the most beautiful pictures (which she did)!!

    Amazing quality pictures, amazing quality person

    Aubrey was absolutely incredible to work with. She is so quick to respond to messages, is clear with her communication, and makes sure every detail is planned. The quality of her pictures is unbelievable, and a very quick turn around time. She creates an extensive timeline with you and makes sure it is stuck to (MUCH appreciated). In addition to all of that, she is so kind and easy to work with while making sure all of the pictures get taken. She cares about each one of her couples so much, and makes it feel like you are the only couple she is working with. Did I mention the pictures are STUNNING? We will be using her for all future photography needs.

    Awesome Photographer and top level Professional

    I had the chance to work with Aubrey Lynn Photography at a wedding where I was the DJ. You was amazing to work with and a total team player. She was always ready to go for those special moments through out the day and captured so so many great pictures! She is a true professional and a pleasure to work with and takes amazing pictures. I have worked with a lot of photographers and Aubrey is in one of the best that I have worked with. I believe in her work so much I have referred couples to her. Typically, couples book me about 12-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Yes. We offer cinematic wedding films as well as wedding photography.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2-4 weeks after your wedding. Images are uploaded to a digital gallery which is password protected for your privacy. You can view and download your images, as well as purchase prints!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. A typical 9 hour day yields about 700-800 images.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
