Ritz Charles was established over 30 years ago with a vision of a high-quality venue focusing on social gatherings, fundraisers, corporate meetings, and of course, weddings. The beautiful 15,000 square foot facility on Meridian Street was the catalyst to additional, unique venues and offsite catering. Over the years, Ritz Charles has acquired a renowned culinary staff, professional servers, dedicated managers, and a talented Design Team. With 7+ unique venues, Ritz Charles Catering is one of the largest caterers in Indianapolis. Our experience assures you the best event possible.

Feel like taking the event outside... this event space encapsulates the beauty of nature.
Open year round, this heated, permanent glass structure provides a 360 degree view of beautifully landscaped gardens, imported fountains and wooded surroundings. Step outside to experience the possibilities: cocktails on the patio, dancing under the stars and late night s’mores aside the fire pit. For large events the Garden Pavilion is the perfect spot to start with a cocktail hour, then move to the Ritz Charles ballrooms for dinner and dancing.

The Chapel at Ritz Charles puts the ease in your wedding day.
The chapel boasts an elegant dressing room for the bride, bachelor’s retreat for the groom, oak floors, white chiavari chairs and state of the art acoustics. The climate controlled Chapel boasts an elegant dressing room for the bride, bachelor’s retreat for the groom, oak floors, white chiavari chairs and state of the art acoustics. The simple and elegant altar allows for easy personalization or can be left as is. A Ritz Charles chapel attendant will be there to assist you on your big day, helping to do everything from seating your guests to opening the doors before you walk down the aisle. Our Chapel will offer your guests elegance and convenience, as the accompanying Ritz Charles Garden Pavilion and Ballrooms are just a few steps away.

Our Completely Renovated Ritz Charles Ballrooms!
Perfectly groomed grounds, stately portico, polished floors and soaring ceilings; welcome to the Completely Renovated Ritz Charles Ballrooms! Whether you are planning a lavish wedding reception, splashy gala, business meeting or rehearsal dinner, we can provide the perfect atmosphere. Ritz Charles has five beautifully appointed ballrooms that hold between 100 and 500 people each, with the entire venue accommodating over 1,000 people. Over 13,000 square feet of continual space can be customized to accommodate an event of any size. For your wedding day the Ritz Charles Ballrooms can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions. Start in a small intimate space for your ceremony, them move to a larger ballroom for dinner and dancing. Our elegant ballrooms are also conveniently located next to the Ritz Charles Chapel.

Going into our wedding day at Ritz Charles, we had some hesitation because our planning experience felt a bit distant and rigid. Our event coordinator was professional but lacked warmth, which left us worried about how the day would actually go. The moment we arrived, though, everything changed—the entire staff at the event was genuinely kind and went above and beyond to take care of us and our guests. They even surprised us with extra cannolis and an engraved bottle at the end of the night. The venue itself is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service ran like clockwork. While I wish the pre-event communication had been friendlier, the actual wedding day made up for it completely.

️️️️️ 10/10 — If I could give the Ritz Charles more than five stars, I absolutely would! Choosing the Ritz Charles for our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we made. From the very beginning of the planning process through the final moments of our wedding night, their entire team was exceptional. They were incredibly responsive, organized, easy to work with, and unbelievably accommodating. They genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life, and the end result exceeded everything we had imagined. First and foremost, THE FOOD! Without exaggeration, it was some of the best food we have ever had at a wedding—or anywhere! Months later, we STILL have wedding guests telling us how incredible the food was. We received so many compliments throughout the night and afterward, and I think it says so much when the meal continues to be one of the things your guests remember and rave about long after the wedding is over. Everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully executed. One of the most meaningful details for me was our wedding cake. I wanted our cake to be modeled after my mom and dad’s wedding cake as a special homage to them and their marriage (see photos!), and the Ritz Charles went above and beyond to make that vision a reality. It was such a sentimental request for me, and seeing their cake recreated so beautifully for our own wedding decades later was incredibly special. It was one of those little details that carried so much meaning, and I’m so grateful for the care they put into making it happen. Beyond the food and cake, the entire Ritz Charles team was phenomenal. They worked with us every step of the way, answered our questions quickly, accommodated our requests, coordinated countless details, and helped transform our ideas into the wedding we had always envisioned. On the actual wedding day, everything ran so seamlessly that my husband and I were able to simply be present, celebrate with the people we love, and enjoy every second without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes. Our wedding truly felt like our own fairytale. The venue was beautiful, the food was unforgettable, every detail came together perfectly, and the entire day felt effortless because of the incredible team working behind the scenes. Looking back, our wedding was everything I had dreamed of and so much more. I will forever be grateful to the Ritz Charles for helping us create such a beautiful, meaningful, and unforgettable day. If you are considering the Ritz Charles for your wedding, I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough. They exceeded our expectations in every possible way and helped give us a wedding day that we—and our guests—will be talking about for years to come!

Venue of our Dreams
We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! From the first email to the end of the night, the service was top notch. Zoe Huffer was incredible and made us feel heard and comfortable every step of the way. Robin and Dylan helped make our ceremony flawless! The chapel and ballrooms are gorgeous, the staff is amazing, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the food, service, and venue. We’d choose Ritz Charles again in a heartbeat! The Best Day!
From our first conversation with Emily at Ritz Charles, we knew we had chosen the right venue. She was responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in bringing our vision to life—even coordinating with our wedding planner to source specific chairs from Ohio without hesitation. On the day of our wedding, the entire team kept everything running perfectly while remaining warm and approachable throughout the night. Every guest commented on how gracious the staff was, and the venue itself looked exactly as we had imagined—timeless and elegant. Ritz Charles didn't just provide a beautiful space; they partnered with us to create something truly special. We can't thank Emily and her team enough for making our day unforgettable.

Wonderful experience
We had our wedding reception at the Garden Pavilion at the Ritz Charles on 2/14/16. The experience from beginning to end was absolutely incredible. From early questions to final details, I was taken care of the entire way. My husband and I planned our entire wedding and the specialists at The Ritz helped this process immensely. The choices for appetizers, food, deserts, and decor options were endless and hard to choose from! The day of our wedding went off without a hitch. The Ritz provides a day of coordinator which made set up/clean up and dropping things off very easy. Throughout the entire night I had 2 staff members taking care of my needs and making sure I had 0 worries. 2 weeks later I am still receiving compliments on our reception. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the included decor helped make the venue even better. Second biggest compliment was on the food! I am used to not being excited over wedding food but everything was fantastic! The pork chop was INCREDIBLE and a meal I am still thinking about. I highly, highly recommend this venue. Prices for everything felt reasonable even when we upgraded our food, drink, and decor options. I will be thinking about this day for the rest of my life!!
