Hi. I'm Kayla!!! I'm a barefooted hippie mama, who freaking LIVES for weddings. I love chips on my sandwich, watching the stars, & being out in the rain. I am a major sucker for the "first date", & "how he popped the question" stories-- literally. I cry every time. I believe that every love story is profoundly unique, and it is my honor to be chosen to be apart of such intimate moments with you and your partner. I am LGBTQ + Friendly and am in support of all couples in love! My Hair Styling journey started when I was in 3rd grade, and has never stopped. I always thought it was just a fun hobby, but I now do it full time, and I LOVE IT.

I am not only a Wedding Hair Specialist, but also a Candid Photographer. I have found that having one Vendor who can mark off multiple boxes comes in VERY handy for the wedding day, and can save you $$. As your photographer, I can fix your flyaways during photos, while also posing you in a way that is both flattering, and sentimental. As your Wedding Artist, I am able to gently keep everyone on-task and help the day run smoothly from the updos, to the "i dos!" I vow to be as involved as you would like me to be- I am your best friend for the day!!! Bring on the last-minute bang trims, bustling, and bowties! I got you!

Bridal Hair Styling

Description

For the big day, I set aside 1 hour for the bride. I usually recommend that the bride go last- to ensure that she has the freshest hair, and can get in her dress immediately after for photos. Included in the bridal style is a travel hair spray for any of those pesky fly-aways! The bride is the primary focus of any wedding- and rightfully so! I want to make sure the bride feels that her hair is absolutely perfect!! A Trial, and Day of Styling is included in the Bridal Package!

Description

For each of the bridesmaids, flower girls, and moms, I set aside 30 minutes for each style. I rarely use the entire 30 minutes. My average time is 20 minutes, but I allow for 30 to make sure the day moves smoothly! Based on the bride's vision for her bridal party, I prefer to have a photo of what each girl will want for her hair style. (I will try to read your mind, but that's much harder to do!) This can be shown to me on the day of the wedding. I do require 6 to book, so keep that in mind!

Our Bridal Makeup Package includes airbrush makeup, customized Bridal Look, and false lashes!! If you prefer another style of foundation, we would be happy to make that happen for you!! Our Bridal Makeup Package includes a Trial + Day-Of Application. We provide an under eye mask for the Bride, and set aside 1 hour!!

YES! I travel anywhere for weddings! I have been all over the place for weddings! From Florida to Alaska, to Costa RICAAA, I got you covered!!
There are 2 answers for this. In-state weddings have an initial traveling fee of $100, and an additional 57 cents per mile is added. Yes! Once I receive the contract, and the 25% deposit, your date is OFFICIALLY set! YAY!

I have the option for you to pay with cash, card, or check. If you do choose to pay with a card, there will be an automatic 4% processing fee, which is why most of my brides choose to pay with cash or check! There is a small cash discount of 5% off the total amount if you choose to pay in cash.
The remainder of your payment should be made 7 days prior to the wedding date.
Yes, my minimum is 6 styles in order to book. But usually, even if you only have 5- someone is bound to be up for getting pampered! (Sister, Aunt, Mom, Flower Girl- we can get creative!)
On average, I will spend about 20-25 minutes per updo, but in order to plan well for the day, I allow for "30 minutes." Now if you are already aware that your hair is INSANELY thick- then just mentally prepare for me to spend a little extra time on ya! For half-up styles and all down curls, I need the full 30 minutes to make sure everything is curled well and staying all night!
On average, I have 9 styles per wedding party. This includes Bride, Bridesmaids, Moms, Flower Girls, and even family of the Bride & Groom! It is not uncommon for me to have grandmas, aunts, and cousins wanting to get their hair done- and I don't mind at all! The more the merrier! My record so far is 14 styles in 4.5 hours!
A trial style is included in the Bridal Package, any additional trial hairstyles are $120.
I always recommend my brides waiting until 1-2 months out from the wedding to do the trial. This gives you enough time to (hopefully) get your dress in to try it on together to see the entire look.
Short Answer: Only one style is included in the "Trial" Appointment. For a longer detailed explanation, check out my website's FAQ! The trial is charged based on the amount of time spent, so if you do plan on needing additional styles, there will be an additional charge of $120 per additional style.

The contract should be returned to me as soon as you are able. Once I have the contract and the deposit, I will officially block off your date! So really, the sooner the better!
I have Makeup Artists on my Team! They are extremely talented girls who specialize in Airbrush technique, and offer False Lashes!! I do all of their contracting, so inquire for more information!!

I used to work in a salon setting, but officially stepped away from the Chair August 2020, to put more time and energy into my business and my daughter. Now, I refer all Pre-Wedding Hair Coloring to our Hair Colorlist on our Team! Inquire for more information!

    Everything I could have asked for and more!

    I had the pleasure of working with Kayla and Vanessa for my wedding last month. I paid for photography (both wedding and engagement), hair, and makeup. These girls are ROCKSTARS! I've always hated getting my picture taken, but Kayla made me and my husband feel so relaxed. You can tell that they love what they do. Kayla would gush over our photos and start editing them before the night was over because she was THAT excited about them. One of my bridesmaids has trichotillomania, and she did a wonderful job of being sensitive to her insecurities and treating the hair appropriately. Kayla's ability to fix hair on the fly on the wedding day is an extra bonus, as she's a dual photographer/stylist. As someone who doesn't know how to do their makeup on their own, Vanessa was a godsend. If you have a very specific vision in mind, she can execute on it no problem! I wanted a nude, natural look and it was perfect. She even helped out my bridesmaids with last minute touch-ups that were technically above the contract. I honestly can't say enough words of praise regarding them. I know I won't hesitate to work with them again when I get the chance!

    Above & Beyond

    Kayla did the hair for my wedding and every single look was stunning! I had 7 bridesmaids, myself, and my mother get their hair done and she did several intricate styles by herself within a couple of hours. I had so many compliments on my hair throughout the night, it was exactly what I wanted. She even trimmed one of my bridesmaids hair because she hadnt gotten it cut in a while and it needed some sprucing up for the style. All of our styles stayed throughout the night and looked flawless. Kayla is amazing, she goes above and beyond to make everyone look their best!! I will definitely be using her for other events and such in the future.
