Hi, I’m Caitlin — the heart behind Hawthorne and Ivory Photography. I’m a Kentucky-based photographer with a deep love for storytelling, creativity, and capturing moments that feel as meaningful as they look. Whether I’m documenting a timeless wedding day, an intimate engagement, or crafting something completely unique and artistic, I’m always chasing images that feel honest, intentional, and a little bit magical. I thrive on creativity in all forms, and I bring that same energy into every session — blending classic, elegant imagery with a touch of individuality that makes your photos truly yours.

I’m married to my incredible wife of nearly three years, and creating a space where everyone feels seen, celebrated, and comfortable is at the core of everything I do. 10/10 Prososal shoot!
We had a brief 30 minute photo shoot but it was absolutely fantastic! Caitlin was super professional and down to Earth and helped us find good spots and poses for each of the pictures. We love how they turned out and highly recommend!

Comfortable and Fun
Not only did she make me and my family feel comfortable & beautiful during our wedding shoot she also went above and beyond to make sure we had photos back the same day so we could post our special day. She was communicative from start to finish! I literally couldn’t say enough good things about Caitlin! We look forward to booking with her again soon!
