Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. If you are looking for a DJ who cares, gets the dance floor going and is easy to work with, BEG Event Group is it. I will be recommending them to all my clients!”

He was so easy to talk to, incredibly organized, and asked us every question to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. He had our entire list of songs, our wedding party names, and all of the little details we had discussed. You could truly tell how much he cared about making our night perfect. One moment that really stood out to me was when David came up to me during the reception to ask if I wanted a song that a guest had requested to be played. “We hired DJ El Sid from Fusion Function for our wedding, and we seriously couldn’t be happier with our decision! From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, professional, and made the entire planning process so easy. His planning tools were a huge plus! We were able to add songs to our playlists right from the apps on our phones, which made building the music for our wedding fun and stress-free. The wedding day itself was absolutely incredible! Even the staff at our venue went out of their way to compliment El Sid on his ability to command the room, get everyone’s attention when needed, and keep all of the formalities flowing smoothly throughout the night. And then there was the dance floor… PACKED ALL NIGHT! We had a lot of family fly in from out of state, and we honestly assumed many of them would spend most of the reception sitting, catching up, and mingling. We were completely wrong! On the wedding day, their performance made for a special surprise that all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed, including us! We didn't give to much direction for music to them except for one song request and it paid off because everyone loved what they played and they even learned the song we requested. “We couldn't recommend The 1999 enough!! We first saw them at the Thirsty Moose bar in New Hampshire. That night, we had such a good time that we decided we wanted them as our wedding band over the other more traditional soul/r&b band we had in mind. They were able to play a lot of modern rock and pop favorites for us and our friends but also throw in a few classics for our parents and older guests. They even let us help decided the final set list to ensure a wide variety of songs. Working with them was such a breeze as Rob and Alex are so incredible detailed-obsessed -- we didn't have to worry about a thing because they gave us the confidence going into our wedding that they had it under control from pre-planning to end of night. We couldn't have asked for a better band and we are now happy to call them friends for life! Such great people, amazing professionals and talented musicians.”
