I’m Jailyn, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, now based in Middle Tennessee, with proud Puerto Rican roots. At JailynCaptures, I believe the most powerful moments aren’t staged — they live in the in-between: the laughter, quiet pauses, and emotions you don’t even realize are happening. Photography, to me, is deeply meaningful. It goes beyond capturing images; it’s about honoring the love, faith, and moments God places before me. We've been shooting weddings for almost 10 years~! We named the business after our son and never looked back! We've traveled all over the USA from South Dakota to North Carolina and even Arizona shooting weddings. It's unbelievable where a camera has taken us.

I love mexican food, cats (and dogs!), and iced coffee. Books are my best friends, and I also double as a yoga teacher when I'm not doing photography related things. I have a weird obsession with fuzzy socks and I prefer movies over TV shows. Now on to the typical things you want to know about my journey in photography...I got my first camera in 2009 and basically haven't put it down since! I studied photography at Savannah College of Art and Design and started my freelance photography career when I graduated in 2016!
