After our daughter, Walker Ann, passed away unexpectedly, I felt God tugging at my heart. I have experienced the quote "babies don't keep" first hand and I believe that my clients deserve to have their children, their family, and their memories captured in the moment. No matter what stage your family is in, whether you're getting married or growing a family, I feel as though God has led me to use my gift of photography to serve others. I have learned in my journey of loss that grief and joy can coexist. It is such a joy to be able to provide memories that last forever in the form of a photograph. I look forward to serving you!

As your photographer, I take pride in really getting to know you and becoming a lifelong connection. I live for capturing your most precious moments whether that be through my photography or iPhone content creation. During your engagement session and wedding, I create video content with my iPhone and share those with you afterwards to look back on. I am willing to follow you in all of life's biggest moments. From your wedding day to growing your family, my specialty is being there for you while capturing it all.

If you're interested in doing an engagement session outside of a wedding package, I would love to schedule a session with you! I have a studio space available for use or we could find an outdoor location based on your vision for your session. If you would like to add on hair and makeup services, I share studio space with the BEST hamu artist in the whole world! She is the owner of Studio E and Emma C Jones Beauty in Guntersville, AL.

    Top Notch Photographer!

    I recently worked with Maddie on a wedding and had the best experience with her and her team! There were a few hurdles that we had to jump over on the day of, but Maddie and her assistant were able to handle it like pros. Her photos are absolutely gorgeous and she is SO talented!     Fantastic Photographer

    Maddie did my engagement and wedding pictures in 2023. She did a fantastic job and the pictures were beautiful. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera when we were not. She was very organized and efficient when it came to family and group pictures. And she was always open to ideas from us. You will love her!

    Best Engagement Session

    Sun Walker Photography did our engagement session back in 2021! Maddie, the owner, was incredibly responsive and professional, answering all of our questions promptly via cell, email, and through her beautifully designed website. On the day of our pictures, she was a joy to work with - she captured every moment with exceptional skill and attention to detail, all while keeping us relaxed and having fun. I do not offer professional videography services but I do offer iPhone Video Content Creation with 24hr turnaround times.
My turnaround time varies for a session and wedding. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. For your engagement session, you will be able to view your photos 2-4 weeks after. Within this time, you can expect to receive a few sneak peek previews of your wedding day within 24 hours.
Typically, couples book me about 9-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I conduct a process called culling that allows me to pick the highest quality images from your wedding day. I deliver what I call "all editable images" which means that your gallery size can vary but you will be receiving the best of the best. This means that I won't be editing every single photo that I take but rather all of the best quality images.
I will only bring an assistant with me to your wedding if you book Wedding Package 2 that includes a second shooter. This means that I will bring a trusted associate of mine to photograph your wedding alongside me. At the end of our time together, I will take their SD card and combine their photos with mine.
Protecting your photos is my number one priority. I backup your RAW, Culled, and Edited photos using a LaCie external hard drive as soon as I get home from your session or wedding.
I use the Canon R6 because of the incredible eye tracking and low light capabilities. Despite having wonderful lowlight capability, I do use an on camera Godox flash for receptions most of the time. My favorite current lenses that I use are a 24-70mm and 85mm.
