Cannon River Winery is a wedding venue located in Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Two Stunning Venues, One Unforgettable Experience. Fall in love all over again. Nestled in the heart of Minnesota’s Sogn Valley, you’ll say, “I do,” in a rustic 150-year-old timber frame barn overlooking lush vines and rolling hills. The Winery is on the Register of Historic Places and has been in Cannon Falls since the 1920s. Cannon River Winery’s Event Center is located above the Tasting Room, on the second floor of the Winery. This upstairs space was the town dance hall and boasts original hard wood floors, exposed wood ceilings, and simple drop lights, that create a country chic style. As an extra touch, our custom built-in Mahogany bar edged with historic volkstead mirror glass.

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.
