    A dream venue!

    Having our wedding at The Grand was an absolute dream. The venue itself is a hidden gem, beautiful, unique, and the perfect setting for our celebration of 185 guests and a live band. From the very beginning, working with Lindsay and Jake was such a joy. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and calm, accommodating nature made the entire process seamless and fun. I had plenty of miscellaneous questions along the way, and they were always quick to respond with kindness and clarity. So many of our guests complimented the space and how special it felt. Choosing The Grand was one of the easiest and best decisions we made, and we would recommend it again and again to anyone planning a wedding. We’re so grateful to have had this incredible venue as the backdrop to our happiest day.

    A grand experience all around!

    The ownership and the staff of The Grand are incredibly professional AND wonderfully easy going. Stress-free excellence is a rarity these days, so The Grand is a gem. Always an awesome experience, in one-of-a-kind, beautiful space. The Grand is the best!!

    We loved The Grand!

    The Grand is such a unique venue. They were great to work with, the food was fantastic, and our guests are still talking about how memorable our wedding was a year and a half later! Certainly recommend.

    100% would choose the Grand again!

    We held both our ceremony and reception at The Grand. Lindsay, the event coordinator, is awesome. She does everything in her power to accomodate your needs, has everything down pat and thinks of everything so that nothing unexpected can come your way. Service and bar staff were amazing, food was delicious, and the venue is stunning. If I had to do it all over again I would 100% pick The Grand Event Center and I will recommend to everyone I know.

All alcohol must be purchased and served by the Venue, with the exception of wine. House wines are available, though parties may bring in their own wines with a corking fee of $15 per bottle.
Off-peak season runs from November through March.
Public parking lots are available between 5th Street and 4th Street, and between 4th Street and 3rd Street, on the West side of Washington Street. On-street parking is available near the Venue, and vehicles may be left overnight between March 15th and November 15th.
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible.
The facility fee includes the following: facility wedding coordinator, set up, clean up, tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, soft drinks, coffee, and linens.
Parties have access to the Venue beginning at 8am on the day of the wedding, with the last guests departing by midnight. Family and bridal party may stay to gather belongings and gifts until 1am. Depending on facility availability, parties may have access to the Venue on the day prior from 12pm to 6pm for an additional charge of $250. Early access can not be guaranteed until two weeks prior to the event.
Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 30 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.
The Grand Event Center is located approximately 40 miles South of Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
