“Skyview Golf Club was the PERFECT place to get married! My now husband and I had a blast at this venue and they made the process soo smooth. Hildegard was a huge help and basically held our hand along the way to make sure we checked everything needed to get done. Not to mention, we were planning a wedding across the country so her communication was essential to this process. I couldn't have asked for a better spot. It's also such a naturally beautiful venue that we didn't need to go overboard with the decoration as they already had a lot of stuff on site! I would 100% recommend this location to people and already have to some of my recently engaged friends! Additionally, their partnered vendors were everything we needed as well. Made it so much easier as they had recommendations already on lock. Thank you again Skyview for making our special night the most memorable.”

They went above and beyond, unpacking all of our wedding decor and setting it up perfectly. The food was also delicious! “Rock Island was the best decision we could have ever made. Our experience was 110% perfect from start to finish. From our first tour with Stephanie, we were hooked and immediately knew 'this was the place'. In the 18 months leading up to our wedding, we never felt overwhelmed or alone in the planning process. Our coordinator Elaine, was and IS the best of the best. Every email, check-in meeting and question was always greeted with excitement, warmth and reassurance. Elaine made sure everything was perfect not only throughout the planning process, but especially on the day of our wedding. The day itself truly was flawless. Elaine, Abby, Robby, Jill and the countless other Rock Island Staff we worked with day of ensured that not one thing was out of place. We, alongside all our guests, felt so much love and attention from the staff that they felt like family by the end of the night. We cannot thank you all enough for the work you do and how meant for your roles each of you are. The venue itself is stunning, with an updated and picturesque lakeside setting that felt so inclusive and special. We could not have asked for a more beautiful backdrop for our wedding. We came into wedding planning wanting an 'indoor/ outdoor' vibe and Rock Island delivered that in every way. The food was also some of the best wedding food we have seen/ tried (our guests would agree!) which is a true testament to the kitchen staff! Additionally, our bar staff did a phenomenal job with our signature cocktails and espresso martini bar. We hope to experience RILC as a guest some day! It's been almost a month and my husband and I talk about our wedding every day. Every family member and friend we talk to tell us it was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever been to. If we could relive the day over, there's not one thing we would change. Thank you Rock Island Lake Club for EVERYTHING. Would recommend to anyone looking for a NJ wedding venue.”

“This is by far the most romantic, breath taking and incredible location for a wedding. My *now* husband, Todd, and I toured The North Shore house back in January 2025. We fell in love instantly and this was in the dead of winter where the trees were bare and the ground was frozen. We saw the pictures and I knew instantly that this venue would be stunning during the summer/fall time. I remember meeting the owner during that tour and how incredibly sweet she was. When the manager, Eric, gave us all the preliminary details, I began tearing up from excitement. “This is it,” I thought so I asked to have a moment with my fiancé to discuss, after nudging him under the table. When Eric left the room, I blurted out instantly, “This is it! We found it! I want it!” Todd agreed and so began the planning stages with Emma, our events coordinator. Emma is beyond prepared and brilliant. She asked us so many important questions and made the planning process easy. She was super detailed, super knowledgeable and clearly an expert in wedding planning. Her recommendations were always the best choices and she was incredibly responsive throughout. I cannot express to you how incredible she is and how much I recommend working with Emma. She’s lovely, brilliant, and made the entire journey less stressful. The day of our wedding, there were some unforeseen things that came up but Emma took care of everything. She was always direct, communicative and respectful. She thought of things way before we could anticipate the need. A small example of this was our extra flowers. We had flowers lined down the aisle during the ceremony. She asked if she could repurpose them during the reception once the ceremony concluded. We said yes. She immediately repurposed them as decoration by the bar and made the area more beautiful. Now, the venue and inn itself. All my guests voiced how stunning the venue is from the ceremony location outdoor by the lake, to the reception space with the polished wood, and each individual room. My guests are telling me they felt like they escaped the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan area to a completely new country on a mountain top by the lake. Everyone felt the romantic setting come to life. The best part? We had the entire place to ourselves since they only do 1 wedding per day, so your guests can walk the grounds without interrupting another ceremony. Let’s talk food! I will quote a friend of mine who ran up to me on the dance floor yelling, “OMG. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST STEAK IVE EVER HAD AT A WEDDING!!!” People are raving to us constantly about the food. The lobster station was a hit! The hanger steak was by far the most loved dish. Every single selection was delicious. I loved how incredibly accommodating they are with allergies and dietary restriction. I’m gluten free, so anything I was given was made sure to be gluten free. Even the staff knew this so they alerted me what wasn’t gluten free so that I knew. The North Shore House makes your wedding dream come true; ours truly was the perfect day with the perfect weather and the perfect food.”

“We were married on 5/10/25 & I still am beaming ear to ear about my experience at Minerals Hotel. From the moment we stepped on the property to view the venue, we knew it was special. Rachel greeted us and gave us the grand tour & made us feel so comfortable. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for the space and everything they had to offer really sold us. We fell in love with everything. I did not realize my experience would be getting that much better with Dana as my coordinator. She went above and beyond to help us. She answered any and all of questions, she gave me honest feedback, and always put my needs ahead of anything else. She’s a professional & a saint. My whole experience as a bride was made better from her being there for us throughout the whole experience. Our wedding day went extremely smooth & I don’t know if it would have went that way without her and her team. Our wedding weekend was everything we could have wanted and more. The minerals hotel staff took care of everything and made everyone feel so comfortable. I cannot tell you how many people are still texting us about how amazing everything was and how they want to find more excuses to come to this hotel & have another event. For the weekend, we opted for a welcome party for all of our guests the night before & offered snacks and a cash bar in the diamond room- it really set the scene for the whole weekend. Our bartender that night kept the drinks flowing and everyone had the best time. The late night snacks were really good too. We also opted for a farewell brunch the day after the wedding in the same room and it was perfect. The breakfast buffet is unmatched & was much needed after a night of partying. We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals hotel and it was perfect. Not only is the pavilion itself beautifully designed but the staff were on top of everything. They made sure that everyone had what they needed (which was a lot for a 180 person wedding) and were so organized. Our lovely bridal assistant, Kya, made sure my husband & I ate, were hydrated and even had to do a quick tailoring job for me to make my dress more comfortable to dance in haha. The dance floor was perfect for a big dance party, the chicken roulade & filet mignon were divine, and the bartenders made a fabulous lemon drop martini (my choice haha) There was not one thing I could say wrong about the whole night. The makeup artists (Marisol and Leah) and hairstylist (Caitlin) that we hired from the salon at Minerals were INCREDIBLE. Every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. A big concern when hiring was seeing how the makeup artists worked on mature skin & hooded eyes- they knocked it out of the park. These girls are extremely talented . The cocktail hour was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food (also Kya wrapped up all the food for us so the day after the wedding my husband & I were able to try everything we weren’t able to- it was such a nice treat) & the after party pool party was so much fun (I highly recommend booking the pool, your guests, & you, will love it…and the after party churros- everyone ate those up). After the princess treatment we received at minerals hotel, I don’t think anyone should get married anywhere else. Dana, Kya, Rachel, & the rest of the minerals team made my dream wedding into a reality bigger than what I could have imagined for myself. Do not hesitate, book this venue, you will be so glad you did.”

“My husband and I got married at Bear Brook Valley this past weekend and it was absolutely PERFECT! Our experience with the Bear Brook team since we booked our date with them two years ago has been amazing. The renovations they completed last year are absolutely stunning. The boys absolutely loved getting ready in the new speakeasy lounge, the golf simulator was a huge hit! Our guests raved about the food and drinks. Our coordinator, Amanda was incredible! Not only did she walk me through the planning process (we did not hire an official wedding planner), but she responded promptly to all my questions via email and executed my entire vision the day of the wedding! Everything ran super smoothly. Our bridal and groom suite attendants, Amber and Cameron, were on top of everything the entire wedding day! Anytime we needed anything they were there. They were constantly making sure we had a drink in hand if we needed one, Amber helped me get a stain out of my dress, and they both graciously steamed all of the dresses and tuxes! Something we both absolutely love about Bear Brook is that their team makes you feel special and valued. They truly value making sure your day is the best it can be, which was not my experience touring other venues. Because of this incredible team, I was able to enjoy every minute of my day without any stress! If you’re considering booking Bear Brook - DO IT! We genuinely cannot recommend them enough!”

“If you are looking for a wedding venue, you can stop scrolling now. This family run venue is truly amazing and gave us the dream wedding day. First off, the grounds are STUNNING. The backdrop for our ceremony and photos was straight out of a magazine, and our guests were absolutely captivated by the location. The food? It was incredible! This is not standard wedding food, it was genuinely delicious, and our guests are still raving about every single course. The whole team was phenomenal and made the planning process smooth. Katherine, one of the owners, made us feel like family from day one and was constantly checking in on me, both leading up to and on the wedding day. That level of personalized care is what makes this place so special. Huge thanks to everyone for delivering perfection: gorgeous grounds, incredible food, and the best staff you could ask for. “My wedding was on 9/18/2026, and I am so BLOWN AWAY with how incredible everything was at Waterloo Village. Sindy was our coordinator, and she truly went above and beyond to meet all expectations during the planning stages and on the day of. Wedding venue and coordination: The grounds at Waterloo Village are absolutely beautiful. Granted, the weather was on our side, but one of the biggest deciding factors for us to go with Waterloo was their solid "rain plan" regarding the ceremony. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas were in different spaces but in very close proximity to each other, which really gave it an elevated feel. I had a few guests with mobility issues, but they were well taken care of by the venue staff because of the on-site golf cart transportation. Sindy and her assistant, Jordan, were incredible on the day of. So attentive to myself, the groom, the entire bridal party, and our parents and key family members. Sindy was punctual, easy to communicate with, and helped bring my whimsical wedding vision to life. Food and Drinks: Every one of my guests complimented the food and said it was some of the best they have ever had for a wedding. It was abundant and constantly flowing. The cocktails were incredible, and each cocktail matched its specific glassware, which was important to me. The desserts were also incredible, and we went with a funfetti cake, warm chocolate chip cookies (best I've ever had), and the mini gelato cones. There were so many things to choose from, and everything was fresh and amazing. My husband and I hope to be guests at a JAM Hospitality Group wedding to experience the entire event from a different perspective. Everything was great. 1000/10 would recommend Waterloo Village to any couple who wants a whimsical, magical, forest vibe wedding with amazing staff, food, and drinks. One of the absolute happiest days of our lives!”
