Piney River Ranch

Piney River Ranch is open and accessible from June 21st through the last Saturday in September, and is one of Colorado’s prime wedding destinations. Beneath the Gore Range, one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain vistas, we can accommodate up to 200 people in our wedding and event space. With two custom log pavilions, and a ceremony deck that boasts mountain views guaranteed to take your breath away, it’s no wonder couples from all over the country come here to say “I do.” The ranch is complete with six guest cabins, three glamping tents and an on-site restaurant and bar as the perfect place to entertain your guests.

  • Rustic yet refined style
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

If you want to wow friends and family with a spectacular wedding, have it at Piney. The amount of compliments my husband and I have received on the venue, food, staff, atmosphere, everything was above and beyond - and we have Piney and the incredible Piney staff to thank for making our wedding so unforgettable. We had our wedding the last day of the season - end of September - and the Aspen leaves were amazing. We had not one, not two, but three moose show up, bald eagles flying over us during our wedding vows, and sunshine. It was the most magical day of my life. Beyond the incredible setting, the staff at Piney made the whole planning experience wonderful. We didn't worry about a single thing, because Hollie and Mo kept us organized, suggested ideas to bring our wedding vision to life, and helped us make our dream wedding a reality. We stayed at the cabins with friends after the wedding reception wrapped up and had the opportunity to stay up late, sitting around a campfire, and talking about all of the wonderful memories from the day. I wouldn't change a single thing. The amount of family and friends who have told my husband and I that it was the best wedding they had ever been to reinforces that it isn't just my rose colored post-wedding love bubble doing the talking here, this venue is a show stopper.

Lucky 8 Ranch was the perfect choice for our Steamboat wedding. We wanted a mountain/western, outdoor vibe, and we couldn't have found a better place for it. Nick and the Lucky 8 team were great to work with and super flexible in helping us bring our vision to life. They have a large inventory of furniture and decor to choose from, which made it easy to create the event and look we wanted, and they executed it perfectly. The venue itself is beautiful—amazing views, bison roaming nearby, and a fun lawn for cocktail hour, and a nice tent that they can set up however you like. It did take some extra work to find and coordinate all of the 3rd-party vendors needed, but it was worth it and Nick was willing to provide recommendations and answer any questions throughout the process. Highly recommend this place!
