I can’t speak this companies praises enough. From the beginning of booking, the communication was incredible. We requested Agnes for our wedding photographer and were delighted to get her. Both our photographer and DJ were booked through them. They walked you through planning call stages prior to our wedding. Both our photographer Agnes and our DJ Mark Allan called us directly to confirm details, and go over timelines and our direct requests. We were impressed with Agnes from start to finish of our day. She communicated well, gave amazing direction, and did her very best with our rowdy group full of kids and ensured that we could get pictures that will last a lifetime. She kept us comfortable, calm, at ease and still managed to make the experience incredible regardless of the rain. DJ Mark Allan was everything we were hoping for. Organized, timely, and fun. He was very helpful with helping us get messages out to the guests, playing the brides most requested songs, and keeping the guests and vibe fun and exciting. He was amazing and loved having him as our wedding DJ.

Since 2014, I have been working as a professional photographer, from dance competitions, to headshots, press events, engagements, weddings, corporate, and picture day in NYC public schools. But no matter where my career has taken me, my favorite moments have always been about capturing love, connection, and togetherness. My goal is to deliver stunning visuals that will exceed your expectations.

From the moment we first reached out to Lisa, we were impressed by her clear, detailed, and warm communication style. Lisa was an absolute pleasure to work with, and her gorgeous, high-quality work was evident in the stunning photos she captured of our engagement session at the American Museum of Natural History. The artistry she brings to the sessions and ideas she presents are so unique and beautiful - I didn't even realize that we could be captured this way! If there is anything I'd love for you to know the most about me, it's this: I will show up for you with compassion, courage and patience (and a little unconventional when inspired). My superhero strength is to see things that you don't; capturing significant moments or your 'perfect side.' I will transform your misconceptions about how you look on camera. It's empowering. I want to do that for you. I received my BFA in fine-arts from Pratt Institute and shot my first wedding in 1992. Photomuse was founded in 2002 and has gone on to become an award-winning photography studio.

We’re Hudson Valley and Catskills wedding photographers who specialize in intimate celebrations filled with connection and emotion. Our focus is on real moments, beautiful light, and photos that feel like you. Whether you’re planning a cozy backyard wedding or an adventurous elopement in the mountains, we’ll capture it with care and creativity.

I first met Megan and Kenneth through working an event that they photographed where I work. I knew instantly that I wanted to work with them for my wedding as it just felt so warm and relaxing to be in their presence. My husband and I wanted to feel like ourselves and have fun with the photos and that is exactly what they delivered. I was never stressed about the photos or the video because I knew Megan and Kenneth had it completely covered. They were extremely responsive over email and zoom calls in the months before the wedding and would answer all questions promptly. They even provided extremely helpful suggestions and built the photography timeline for the wedding so it never felt like we were running behind or losing time. Overall I cannot recommend Megan and Kenneth enough! It was an absolutely wonderful experience and we definitely will work with them again for whatever photo needs we have down the line.

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
Richard is the VIBE! I can't give enough stars! From the unexpectedly windy engagement shoot, to the magic of the 1st look, to the moody magazine worthy portraits, to capturing the best moments all night..he adapted and integrated himself into our day and our family with ease. He blended into the background and truly felt like he was part of the party! Richard is a true professional! He comes off super relaxed and casually says he "has some ideas" and then he turns on the magic. He plays with the lighting and the surroundings and the weather and adapts any moment and any backdrop into a canvas for his art. I really could go on for paragraphs over how spectacular he was to work with, and it brings tears to my eyes to write this after I relive our wedding day in each and every photograph he took that day. I can feel every moment all over again and it is truly remarkable! Thank you Richard for becoming part of our family! xoxo -Lauren and Chris

Matthew Rigby Photography
Rating: 5.0 (54 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Kingston, NY

I'm Matthew, a wedding photographer based in Garrison, NY. With a decade as a wedding photographer and 15 years as an educator, I bring two things to every wedding: the ability to document moments as they happen, and the calm to handle whatever the day brings. I prepare carefully, communicate beforehand, and stay present when it's busy. My style is mostly documentary. I blend into the wedding, observing and documenting moments as they happen rather than staging them. Feedback I hear most often is that couples weren't aware of me, but that I got everything. I work with all couples and celebrate every kind of love, and every kind of marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Matt was an incredible experience. From the moment we found his website, we were immediately drawn to his style. About a month before the wedding, he took the time to go over every family and bridal party photo combination we wanted, creating a detailed, organized list. He also asked about any special moments or details we wanted captured, ensuring nothing was missed. On the wedding day, Matt was exceptionally organized and efficient. The whole process felt seamless, which meant we spent less time posing for group photos and more time enjoying our day. He captured everything we asked for—and more. When we received the photos, we were absolutely blown away by the quality and quantity. Every special moment we could have imagined was captured beautifully. Matt’s eye for composition, his artistic style, and the way he brings out colors in his photos really showcase his talent. If you're looking for an incredible photographer, we highly recommend booking him as soon as possible!

From our first conversation, we knew Anecdote Photography was the right choice for us. Eddie was easy to work with and responded quickly to every question we had leading up to the wedding. During the wedding weekend itself, Eddie brought such a great personality to everything he did—he was attentive to the moments we wanted captured and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. His eye for detail really shows in our photos, and you can see how professionally he handled every shot. We were impressed by how efficient he worked while still delivering talented, polished images. My approach is rooted in a documentary style that focuses on capturing genuine, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold. Whether it's the quiet emotion of an intimate vow exchange or the energy of a packed dance floor, I’m there to observe and preserve it all with honesty and intention. From small elopements to full-scale celebrations, I pay close attention to both the subtle details and the powerful, unforgettable scenes—because every wedding has its own unique story, and my goal is to tell it truthfully through my lens

From start to finish, Aleksandra was absolutely incredible. Not only was she professional, organized, and communicative every step of the way, but she also made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She captured every special moment of our day. What stood out most was how genuinely invested she was in us as a couple and in making sure our families felt included and cared for. She was respectful and thoughtful of our cultures and took the time to understand what was important to us, and handled everything with warmth, grace, and professionalism. We never had to worry about a thing because she was always one step ahead and incredibly organized. Stef Reyes Photo
Rating: 5.0 (20 reviews)
·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Kingston, NY

Hi, I'm Stef. I photograph intimate weddings, NYC City Hall ceremonies, and micro celebrations where presence matters more than production. My approach is documentary at its core. I'm not directing every moment, I'm moving through your day quietly, watching for the ones that actually matter. I shoot both digital and 35mm film, not as an aesthetic choice but because film asks everyone to slow down a little. That slowness is kind of the whole point. Based in New York City and the Hudson Valley, available for travel.

Awarded Best of Zola
Stef was the absolute perfect photographer for our courthouse wedding and intimate family dinner afterward. We truly could not have asked for a better experience! From the moment we met her, she made us feel completely comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely excited for the day. She has such a calm and easygoing presence that immediately puts you at ease. One of the things we appreciated most was that nothing ever felt forced or overly posed. She never pressured us into taking photos or doing anything uncomfortable, which made the entire experience feel so natural and authentic. Almost all of our photos were candid, beautifully capturing the real emotions and special little moments throughout the day. The only posed photos we took were a few family portraits that we specifically asked for. Even though our wedding was small and intimate, Stef made it feel incredibly special and important. The photos turned out absolutely stunning and somehow captured the emotion, excitement, and love of the entire day perfectly. Our family and friends cannot stop complimenting them. Stef is incredibly talented, professional, kind, and wonderful to work with. We are so grateful we chose her and would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone planning a courthouse wedding or intimate celebration.

What's up? I'm Mike, and I love making kick-ass photos. I'm not a wedding photographer because I "absolutely love making people happy and capturing their beautiful story." I do this because I LOVE the feeling of making awesome photos, and I love serving awesome people.

Mike is truly an exceptional wedding photographer. From the very start of the process, he took the time to connect with us and understand our vision for the day. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for his craft made him a joy to work with. A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

This is delightfully different elopement + wedding photography! From helicopter elopements and lakeside wedding bashes to hiking engagements to weddings with bouncy houses, I capture the adventurous, quirky, and unique. Based in both New York + California, with travel worldwide, I've photographed couples on 6 continents. My creative, fun, & candid photography uses innovative techniques and unique ideas to get photos that make you look twice. Whether you're saying vows in your backyard or having a 3-day adventure wedding in the rainforest, I'll catch every spontaneous moment of joy and laughter—and plan a few unique shots on top of it all.

Awarded Best of Zola
Kathryn has been a friend of mine for 20 years, so I've been following her growing business and incredible adventures around the globe for a long time. When I got engaged, I knew exactly who I wanted to do our engagement and wedding photos! Not only is she fantastic to work with, she loves opportunities for creativity and "outside the box" moments. I loved the idea of playing with light at night, so she found a color-changing light device to create incredible backgrounds for our night photos! I also loved that we hardly knew she and her second were there during the ceremony. She's sneaky and still gets the most beautiful photos! I cannot recommend my beautiful friend enough, especially if you're looking for someone LGBTQ friendly! Unfortunately, Google is not letting me upload photos, but please check out her website to see samples of her amazing work!

If I have a camera in my hands, then I am most definitely smiling. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager and I love bringing that passion to weddings. I strive to capture all the intimate details that make a wedding truly personal. Don't be surprised if you see me crying during the parent dances, it's one of my favorite moments :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is firstly a gifted artist and photographer. As you can see she understands space and color in a way that my wife and I clearly do not but more importantly she understands what makes a moment feel special. We asked Sarah to deliver a documentary style wedding experience and she did not fail. When my wife and I chose Sarah, she immediately got to work helping us to plan our wedding day in a way that you might not necessarily expect from a wedding photographer. Sarah was so personal and friendly on the day of our wedding, it felt more like we had a friend taking our pictures as a favor. However, the finished products speak for themselves: our friends and family celebrating, iconic moments of the day, and our love clearly shown throughout. Sarah delivered organization, artistry, and value in a comprehensive package that can’t be beat.

Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
We honestly can't recommend Nina enough! She photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and choosing her was one of the best decisions we made. We had never had professional photos taken before, and Nina immediately made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Our engagement session was such a fun experience and gave us so much confidence going into our wedding day. On our wedding day, Nina was everything you could hope for in a photographer. She was such a calming presence, kept everything running smoothly, and made taking photos feel effortless and fun. She captured every moment so naturally while making us feel completely present throughout the day. When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Nina captured our day so beautifully, and we will cherish these memories forever. We are so grateful we chose her and couldn't recommend her more highly!

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Kingston, NY

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected, their communication style was friendly, responsive, and clear. They took the time to understand our vision and made sure we felt at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly exceptional - their photos have a nostalgic, natural, and emotional quality that perfectly captured the spirit of our special day. Cappy's skill and creativity shone through, even in the challenging backgrounds of our intimate venue in Greenport. They beautifully documented every moment, from the getting ready shots to the ceremony and reception. The final images are timeless, memorable, and absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Cappy Hotchkiss Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

Photographs are the part of your special day that you get to take with you, and that help you look back on and cherish the memories. Picking a photographer was very important to us for this reason. Obviously, their style and work is important. But you also need personality, someone that can get you laughing and direct your vision. Vicki and Allan were incredible, and just what we needed. From being open and willing to explore our quirky requests, to capturing the fine details we wouldn't have considered. The two of them made sure our night, and the whole experience, was incredibly memorable and every moment will be kept dear and cherished. Part of booking with them includes an engagement shoot. This was a great opportunity to meet with them in person before the big day, confirm that the vibes on the phone matched those in person; and we also got some lovely pictures that we used on our invitations. On the day, they are with you for the whole experience. They didn’t time the hours they were there, or pester us about going over a time limit. We had them for the whole day and that's what they delivered. From getting ready photos all the way through to the late night bonfire. We also really loved that they work as a team by default. You automatically get two shooters for the day, and they split up as needed to capture both sides of the party. They are married and so in sync, it was very clear they had many years of experience working with each other and in the industry. Our families rave about how our “photographers were perfect in every aspect” and we will wholly be recommending them to any and all of our friends who get married in the future. Everything was incredible.

Angie Gaul of Milestone Images is a New York-based wedding photographer capturing authentic, emotional moments with artistic flair. Serving NYC, Westchester, Hudson Valley & beyond. We have a passion for documenting life’s best days ever, including weddings, bar mitzvahs, families and milestone events. We document all the moments you never forget.

We had the best experience working with Milestone Images for our Modern Orthodox wedding. From day one, Angie understood the cultural details that made our celebration unique and special. She completely understood why cocktail hour comes first and could keep up with the fast-paced parts of the day. She texts back right away, which made planning so easy. Unlike other photographers in this space who tend to have a dated style, her work is fresh and current—honestly better than anyone else we've ever seen. Her photos are priceless and capture everything we wanted to remember about our day. We can't recommend her enough to other couples looking for someone who truly gets it.

I like to find beauty in the balance between the shadows and the light. They are rarely inseparable. They are complex and totally opposite and yet they can not live without the other. Just like real connection. What is real is beautiful. Only love is real. Your wedding day is important. To you. To your families. To me. And I don’t take it lightly. I understand that you’ve never done this before and you may not even know where to start! Don’t worry- I got you!

Sam was the first vendor we booked. From the moment I saw her photos I knew I absolutely needed her for our day. From our very first call, there was an instant connection and I knew she was going to be so much more than my wedding photographer. We just spoke the same language. Throughout the entire planning process she was a guiding light, helping us with the timeline and prioritizing how we wanted the day to feel. On the day itself, she kept everything on even ahead of schedule and worked expertly around the rain! She kept me calm, protected my space, and allowed us to be fully present with our people. There was no painful posing or forced smiles, only genuine joy and captured experience. Sam is worth her weight in GOLD. One month later, people are still telling me how much they loved her. If you can get Sam, book her and don't look back. I truly could not have imagined our wedding day without her!

My clients describe me as caring, passionate about my work, and trustworthy. I am honored to feel like an extended member of the family when I'm photographing weddings! When I’m not working with amazing people, you'll find me hiking in the Hudson Valley, brunching with my girlfriends, or planning my next vacation (mostly likely on a beach somewhere). I'm obsessed with warm weather, family gatherings, and sunsets. When it's chilly out, you'll find me with a hot cocoa in hand. If there's music on, it's likely country or throwback 80s jams. ALL people and love stories are welcome here!

We love Debbie! Debbie has been such a pleasure to work with through our wedding process. Since our first meeting with her, Debbie made us feel super comfortable and at home, feeling more like a family friend more than just our photographer. She has a great knack for getting the best shots and captures authentic feeling in her photos. She was so good at helping us relax in our photos (which was great for me as a notorious camera-shy guy). Debbie will be our first call for any professional photography in the future and we 110% recommend her!

This is such a special time and I’m so excited for you! 🤗💍 If you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to connect! I’m Erin Braden, and I specialize in capturing real, emotional, joy-filled wedding days across the Hudson Valley and beyond. I work closely with every couple to learn your story, your style, and your vision—then turn that into a wedding gallery that feels personal, powerful, and authentically you. Whether your vibe is romantic, wild, classy, or totally laid-back, I’ll make sure your photos reflect it all.

Erin's photos are like no other. She did an amazing job with our engagement photos and a fabulous job with our wedding photos! Her photos speak for themselves but she also went above and beyond for us. After the ceremony, we greeted each guest as they entered the venue. While I was hugging everyone, she took off my removable sleeves and bustled my dress, while also managing to get beautiful pictures of us hugging friends and family. She heard me say before the ceremony that I would be taking the sleeves off and bustling the dress right away and she took action. Throughout the entire wedding day she was moving, climbing on top of things and laying out the ground to get the perfect shots. And she sure did!! She also posted our sneak peak photos the very next morning. We received 7 beautifully edited pictures before we even left the hotel the next day. Later that day she sent us a link to about 5,000 pictures she took at our wedding. They are not yet edited, so we can't post all of them yet. From talking to friends and reading things in Facebook groups, I know it is not normal to be able to see all of the photos so fast. It was such a gift to look through the photos so soon, instead of waiting for months. She works hard, she works quickly, and she produces photos beyond what we imagined we would get from our wedding day.

Hi, I’m Anita! My goal is to preserve the moments you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Nervous about being in front of the camera? Trust me, I get it, I’m much more comfortable behind it! That’s why I provide plenty of guidance so you can relax, have fun, and focus on each other. Every wedding package includes a complimentary engagement session, so by your wedding day it’ll feel like you’re celebrating with a friend. I specialize in genuine, candid moments with a timeless editing style. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter, rock/metal music, or Zelda!

We had the pleasure of working with Anita for both our engagement session and our wedding day, and we could not be more impressed with her professionalism, talent, and attention to detail. From start to finish, Anita demonstrated an exceptional level of expertise and made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Our engagement photos were beautiful, thoughtfully composed, and truly captured our relationship. Because of that experience, we felt completely confident going into the wedding day — and Anita exceeded our expectations yet again. On our wedding day, Anita brought a calm, reassuring presence that helped everything flow seamlessly. She was organized, punctual, and extremely attentive, ensuring that every important moment was photographed without ever feeling intrusive. Her ability to capture both candid moments and formal portraits with equal skill is truly remarkable. The final images are absolutely stunning. The lighting, composition, and consistency of her work show how dedicated she is to her craft. Anita delivered a gallery that allows us to relive the day in the most beautiful way, and we are sincerely grateful. We wholeheartedly recommend Anita to any couple searching for a professional, reliable, and extraordinarily talented photographer
