“Where do we even start! From the very first email, Colin was such a calming and supportive presence throughout the whole wedding planning process. Anytime I had a question or worry (which I had a few), he was right there with reassurance and quick answers - even when I’d email him late at night, he somehow would respond within minutes! That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“My husband and I just had our wedding September 21, 2024 and we would book Tyson as our Dj a million times over again. From start to finish everything was wonderful. The very first email I sent to inquire about booking, he was extremely professional and responsive. I am very patient with matters like this but I don’t even think we waited longer than a day to hear back from Tyson. I was unsure of timeline with not much clue on how to put everything and he worked with me in minutes and helped put it all together! Everything was so simple to book, I gave him what I wanted and he made our dream a vision like a piece of cake. If his company comes across in your searches, look no further. The music was great, whether everyone knew the songs or not it got them on the dance floor. We love that they even handle the Photo Booth with a custom made neon sign and we didn’t have to book these things separately! Huge help! His fiancé does the Photo Booth and she is the sweetest thing on earth, our guests were even pulling her on the dance floor. Tyson and his fiancé were a huge part of our night and we cannot thank them enough!!”
