Do you want the wedding playlist to be a reflection of you and your spouse's music choices? Then you want to book Summit Events ASAP. Our wedding DJ was Sean Markland and he was just phenomenal to work with. Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". We pretty much curated our own playlist of EDM, country, hip-hop, folk and I really wasn't sure how our guests would respond (and we really didn't care because it was our wedding), but the way Sean mixed and transitioned the songs and hyped up the dance floor kept the vibes going all night! We used Summit Events for our up lighting too - highly recommend as it was a great way to turn the room from a classy dinner reception to a dance party in one click! The sound quality was great for both speeches and music; we wanted to make sure guests could hear speeches clearly and we had no issues at all even though it was a large room. I also appreciated the Vibo app that we used to plan out our ceremony, entrances, first dances and our playlist for the night - it was a great tool that kept songs and notes in one place. We would definitely use Sean and Summit Events again and highly recommend them for the best night of your life!”

“This man is magic. Alex was extremely patient with me during the entire planning process knowing it’s very overwhelming trying to narrow down songs to specific moments. Especially when both me and my husband love all different types of music. He communicated clearly with what we needed to select throughout the day, and anything we hadn’t decided on he understood what vibe was and nailed it. Everyone was on the dance floor from the moment formalities ended to the last song of the night (Cinema by Skrillex of course). I asked for a party and Alex delivered exactly that (& better)! “Michael Ramos with District Remix kept the dance floor going all night at our wedding! We shared some playlists with him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. “Jacob from Soundwaves was the absolute perfect choice for a DJ. He was so nice and so darn good at his job. He was on top of it from start to finish. We started the reception entrance 15 minutes early. He kept the pace of the evening extremely smooth and effortless. He constantly checked on my husband and I, even bringing us drinks at one point. To me, that is above and beyond the call of a DJ! He kept all of our guests and us entertained and on the dance floor all night. Matt’s communication throughout the planning process was top tier, with quick and clear responses. “Wow, where do we even begin with this 5/5 review for Jeff and White Rose Productions other than wishing there was a higher rating to give them? Besides our venue, Jeff was the first vendor we picked for our wedding and it was the BEST choice we could have made. From our first meeting, we instantly knew that Jeff would bring our vision of celebrating and partying all night long to life and boy did he deliver! Weeks later, we still have friends and family saying "Oh my God you guys had the best DJ ever! I wish we had him for our wedding!!" Jeff kept that dance floor PACKED (we even had to move the tables out of the way). Even a few of our friends who are DJ's were dabbing Jeff up all night long for his killer transitions and reading the crowd. As a queer couple, the wedding planning process was a bit stressful in terms of making sure all of our vendors supported us and that we could be our authentic selves. Jeff is one of the most intentional people, he got to know our story, he learned who we are. So much so he was throwing in extra songs that we forgot to have on our list but we LOVED and it made everyone on the dance floor go crazy.
