Alexandra Munroe Photography
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Editorial style
  • Starts at $6,500
  • Serves Jamaica Plain, MA

I'm a New England photographer based in Boston, MA, drawn to the beauty of honest, unspoken moments. My work is rooted in a documentary style, guided by emotion, light, and a deep reverence for simplicity and storytelling.

Highly recommend working with Alex! Not only is she incredibly talented at what she does, but she makes the entire process fun and stress-free. She’s flexible, easy to work with, and truly knows how to roll with anything. We had to change our wedding venue two days before the wedding due to weather, and Alex jumped right in without missing a beat - she knew exactly what to do and made everything feel seamless. The photos turned out absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking for someone who’s both professional and a joy to be around, Alex is it!

We are so happy we went with Sound Originals for our wedding photos! Gabriella the planning specialist, was SO helpful with our wedding day timeline and communicated everything promptly and informatively. The client portal is also very helpful for planning the timeline, updating info/details, asking questions, and viewing our finished photos. Our photographer, Mike, was a blast to work with and we highly recommend him for those in the Chicago area. He was assigned to us about 2 weeks before the big day (due to a conflict with the photographer we were originally assigned) and he made sure to reach out to me right away so he could get to know us and get caught up on our timeline and details. His fun, goofy personality kept us at ease throughout the day, he did a great job wrangling the bridal party, and helping with poses so we felt comfortable having our photos taken all day. He was also super efficient with our group photos and sunset photos- we actually had time to sit down and eat dinner! We are in love with our wedding photos and 100% recommend Sound Originals (and MIKE)!

Sadowski Photography

  • Starts at $2,700
  • Serves Jamaica Plain, MA

I'm Marc Sadowski, a New England wedding photographer with 20+ years of experience capturing weddings across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, and beyond. My approach is candid and documentary — I stay back, watch, and wait for the moments that happen when you forget the camera is there. I learned photography as a photojournalist, where you get one shot or you miss it forever. That instinct drives everything I do on your wedding day.

We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our wedding day. From the start, Marc's communication was clear, prompt, and easy, which made the whole process feel seamless. On the day of, he was incredibly friendly and made us (and everyone else) feel comfortable in front of the camera with his humor and direction —no small feat. What really stood out to us was his eye for candid moments. He captured so many genuine, in-between shots that perfectly tell the story of our day—nothing felt forced or overly posed. We loved working with him so much that he has become our go-to photographer for family photos as well. If you’re looking for someone talented, personable, and reliable, you won’t regret choosing Marc!

Your wedding photos are not only for you, but for your grandparents and grandchildren. Your wedding day will be celebrated and remembered through the eye of your Wedding Photographer, so choosing someone who fits your vibe and brings out everyone's genuine personality is essential.

Awarded Best of Zola
I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found Chris to capture our special day. However, it goes beyond just that singular day. We had first met with Chris in person for a meet and greet, which I would have never thought to play such an integral role in the process. He demonstrated so much passion for the trade and was already so invested in making sure he was exactly the photographer we were looking for so we could truly get the most out of our day. He also took the time to visit the venue after our meeting to get an idea of what he'd be working with. Chris went above and beyond, every step of the way. He even made it a point to come during the rehearsal as well to be even further prepared. Everything flowed organically with his direction which took away so much stress from the day. Professionalism aside, Chris is just a good dude all around. We're so happy to come away from this experience with not only an amazing portfolio of memories, but a passionate and charismatic friend.

Lindsey “Lensy” Michelle’s approach to photography is rooted in curiosity, connection, and a deep appreciation for self-expression. Lindsey is located in Boston and NYC, but she is always happy to travel to where your story is best told. (US & International)

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do I even begin?! Lindsey came highly recommended from a friend in the industry and honestly was such a support from the start of wedding planning. She provided vendor recommendations, talked through various ideas, and was so excited to help our vision come to life. Also, Lindsey provides so many helpful organizational tools that really helped us feel more prepared for the wedding day. On the day of, Lindsey and Jullian made everything feel effortless and went above and beyond. Family photos went so quickly because they were so organized and they made sure to get photos of all the details we were so proud of. When people talk about our wedding, one of the first things they mention is the photographers. The groomsmen will regularly talk about how Jullian saved the day with wardrobe mishaps; he also saved me from my wardrobe issues too! When my bridal jewelry was overwhelmingly tangled, all it took was handing the necklace to Jullian and it was taken care of. Once we all started dancing, Lindsey was on the dance floor, dancing with us and jumping up in the air to catch the perfect action shots. Honestly, having Lindsey and Jullian at the wedding felt like having two guests that also happened to be wedding planners, photographers, and the life of the party all rolled into one. I had more than a few guests at the end asking how I found such a cool duo and honestly I think it’s all pure luck.

I am a New England girl through and through - born and raised in Framingham, MA, I now reside with my husband, daughter, cat and dog in Ayer, MA. During a New England Summer, you can catch me at Fenway on a Sunday afternoon or having the best lobster roll (change my mind) at Sesuit Harbor Cafe on Cape Cod. When I’m not taking or editing photos, I am most definitely in the kitchen whipping up a meal from one of Ina Garten’s cookbooks. Love that woman. Or playing with my daughter, Tessa and our pup, Lucy in our backyard. I’m so excited to meet you and to create lasting images that will hang in your home for years to come!

Authentic moments and real love stories. Wedding photos that feel like you. For me, the most important part of your wedding day is that you enjoy it. I have 10+ years and 200+ weddings of experience, and I genuinely love my job. Queer/LGBTQ+ friendly - always.

Awarded Best of Zola
I feel so passionately about recommending Sasha I don't even know where to begin! My fiancee and I, as well as several members of our wedding party, have not stopped talking about how great she was since our wedding a couple weeks ago. Sasha did our photos for both our engagement shoot and our wedding. When we started wedding planning, it was important to us to hire vendors who not only aligned with a product we wanted and our price range, but also who were kind, good people we'd want to spend our wedding day with. Some vendors fell short, but Sasha made up for it and then some. First of all, Sasha is EXTREMELY talented. She really captures your essence in her work and several people commented to me that they could "feel" our wedding and emotions through our photos. Her photos are not cheesy or contrived, which was something we knew we wanted when hiring a photographer, and her values aligned with what we were looking for. She is very talented at working with lighting in special and artistic ways. She will "yes and" every single one of your ideas and suggestions for your photos, and really listens to your requests and preferences. Beyond all of this, even if I hated the photos (which is far from the case, I love them so much), I would hire her again and again. Your photographer is someone you spend a LOT of time with on your wedding day. Having someone with good, calm, kind energy who you vibe with is really important. I had a somewhat rough start to my day, getting a bit overwhelmed and behind schedule. Sasha was exactly the person I needed to be with to help ground and calm the energy of everything when it otherwise felt chaotic. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure, kind to every single person she meets, carries such a positive energy, and is a true professional at pivoting/troubleshooting when something goes wrong. She's also a quiet leader who will help keep your wedding running smoothly, pay attention to your timeline, etc. We had a giant wedding party and she somehow corralled people very quickly to get all the group shots we requested, so that I never had to think about it. On the wedding day, as others have said, she was somehow everywhere, but in the least obstructive way possible. I didn't even notice her during the reception or ceremony yet somehow she captured amazing pictures from lots of amazing angles. Leading up to the wedding, Sasha was a delight to work with. She was VERY responsive and willing to meet with us both over the phone and in person. She took the time to do a walk-through of our venue with us, which put me at ease to scope out where we'd take pictures. She even hopped on a Zoom call with us while on her vacation the week before our wedding. Last but not least, Sasha got us our engagement pictures AND our wedding gallery preview much faster than anticipated! If I sound slightly crazed in my obsession for Sasha, it's because I am lol. Sasha's beautiful spirit matches her the high level of talent and artistry in her work. This is your sign to hire her!

My photography career started in 2016 by illegally sneaking into music venues. Which led me to being hired to shoot live music, tour with bands, travel the U.S, and learning how to capture chaos, movement, and emotion in real time. Music was my passion, and motion was my language. So what's my favorite part of your day? The reception, always the reception. The lights go low, the music turns up, and people let go. I’m based in Boston, MA and photograph all weddings and all love. LGBTQ+ friendly, party-forward and here for the moments that matter.

We cannot say enough about how amazing Kelty is. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every possible way. She captured the spirit, emotion, and energy of our wedding day so perfectly. It honestly felt like reliving the day when we saw the photos. Her eye for lighting is incredible, and every image feels natural, warm, and beautifully composed. Beyond her talent, Kelty’s professionalism truly stood out. She was everywhere she needed to be without ever being intrusive, seamlessly moving around to make sure no moment was missed. She made us feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease, which shows in every single shot. If you’re looking for a photographer who is wildly talented, attentive, and genuinely invested in telling your story, Kelty is it. We are so grateful for her and would recommend her a thousand times over. My husband and I are so grateful

Hi, I'm Brooke (she/they) I'm a Massachusetts based wedding & elopement photographer. A client once told me that I captured things in their wedding photos that until then they had only ever felt. From the moment we connected with Brooke, we knew she would be the perfect photographer to capture our special day. Her communication style is fast, effective, and clear, putting us at ease every step of the way. The quality of Brooke's work is truly incredible - her natural, breathtaking photos effortlessly capture the emotions and beauty of our love. Brooke made us feel incredibly comfortable, especially as an LGBTQIA couple, and she was always prepared with creative pose ideas, constantly trying new things to get the perfect shot. Looking at our photos brings us right back to that moment in time and the wave of emotions we felt - Brooke's talent for naturally showcasing the beauty of our love is unparalleled. We are beyond thrilled with the photos from our wedding day and could not recommend Brooke Seminick Photography more highly.

I think there’s a real absence of authenticity in today’s world. Everywhere we look, people are polishing themselves into a perfect image for the internet. But that’s not where the beauty is. The beauty lives in the real moments — the big, loud, messy, emotional, human ones you can’t stage or script. That’s what I chase. Since 2016, I’ve been documenting weddings for couples who want to feel present, relaxed, and fully themselves. I gravitate toward the candid, the unplanned, the way a glance turns into laughter and a quiet moment becomes unforgettable.

Steve Nisotel Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our engagement shoot and wedding day. Their communication style was casual and comfortable, which put us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - they have a great candid and documentary-style approach that captured all the smaller, meaningful moments that we'll cherish forever. They worked seamlessly with our schedule and ensured our entire shot list was met, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy our celebration. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful photos that now serve as a timeless reminder of our special day. Highly recommend Steve Nisotel Photography to any couple looking for a talented, creative, and professional photography team.

I'm a people photographer, an individual not a company. This is a second career for me. My photography experience goes back all my adult life—it’s a love, a passion, my craft and art. I’ve been selling photos for six years, working full-time as a professional photographer for four, and photographing weddings for three. I’ve shot more than 65 weddings, from small and intimate ceremonies to large, lively celebrations.
