“Davin was INCREDIBLE! He was an incredible communicator, extremely organized, was on top of everything before our wedding day and during, and was incredibly talented. He played music that we requested as well as adding songs that matched the vibe. I really liked that he was actually DJing too. It wasn’t just like a Spotify playlist playing. I don’t know the right words to use but he used remixes and added beats to songs that would normally be difficult to dance to. My now husband and I didn’t want to leave the dance floor. There were plenty of times when we wanted a break from dancing physically but then another great song would come on so we just ended up staying on the dance floor. I even heard guests say they were getting some fresh air for a second and then the song would change and they changed their minds too and kept dancing. Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better DJ for your event. Such a talented and great guy!”

“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“We could not have had a better experience than we did with Tyson and Marquee Events. After our first call with him, before we had booked, we hung up the phone and knew our search was over. “I rented the brown and white dance floor from DSM Dance Party DJs and the dance floor was absolutely beautiful and tied in all of my decor! I initially rented the 12x12 but then needed to make it larger at the very last minute because it looked so small with how our tables were set up, the DSM Dance Party team came back on the day of my wedding to increase it to 15 x 15 which made SUCH a big difference!!! Although, it was extremely inconvenient to come back to my venue and add paneling, they did it, and I could not be more appreciative because it looked absolutely perfect and was full all night long.”
