Terrain at Styer's, is located on the historic site of J. Franklin Styer's nursery, a Philadelphia landmark for over 100 years. With over five acres of everchanging blooms and greenery combined with a variety of historic spaces, the property serves as a stunning setting for celebrations of all kinds for up to 110 people. In addition to our bespoke event spaces, Terrain at Styer’s boasts a terrain retail store and Terrain Cafe. We have 6 luxurious guest rooms on the second floor; and on the first floor, there are various gathering places just to relax. And the fireplace is a must see! Morris Arboretum & Gardens gives you private access to 92 breathtaking acres situated in the historic Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia. Our picturesque gardens are exclusively yours when for the festivities from 6-11pm with a max capacity of 175 (some restrictions apply at the max guest count). You have 3 hours with a golf cart + driver to escort you throughout the lush grounds for wedding photographs. Morris Arboretum offers 5 caterers for you to choose from (this is contracted separately, not included in our rental fee). We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.
