“We had the most incredible experience at Terrain Gardens for our wedding on March 29th. From the very beginning, the planning process was seamless. Their online portal for payments and planning made keeping track of deadlines and documents so easy. We also have to give a massive shout-out to our coordinator, Tiffany. She was an absolute dream to work with! She was organized, responsive, and made us feel so at ease leading up to the big day. On the day of, she was constantly checking in to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Terrain will always have YOU in mind every step of the way! As a bride who DIY'ed all the decor including floral arrangements, I was a bit nervous about the logistics. However, Tiffany and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. Their support made the setup feel effortless rather than stressful. The venue itself is gorgeous. Since we married in late March, we knew the weather could be completely unpredictable. The beauty of Terrain is that the indoor and outdoor spaces are both so stunning that we didn't have to stress about a backup plan. Whether you're inside or out, the atmosphere is magical. The food was incredible—our guests are still raving about it! Beyond the big things, Terrain kept surprising me throughout the planning process with thoughtful little details and "extra" touches that I hadn't even anticipated. Those small, intentional gestures made the day feel so much more personal and special. We truly had the perfect, stress-free day we were hoping for. Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.
