“Kyle and Dave were SO great to work with. Every conversation with them was fun and they were so organized in walking us through creating the perfect soundtrack to our favorite day. Kyle and I hit it off immediately sharing a love of Electronic, Pop Punk, and HipHop; and Dave (who DJ'd the day of) was so in tune with my husband's love of Jam Bands, Bluegrass, and Jamtronica! They respected our wishes to check in with us about outlier song requests lol and added the flare our dream playlist needed. The photobooth was loved by all of our guests. We cannot recommend them enough to anyone hosting an event or wedding!”

“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! If you have a big heart for music and want it to be the backbone of any great party while having one of the most professional guys out there - Lou is 100% your guy. Thanks again Lou!!!!”

Our guest were able to take prints home and leave a print in our guest book. It was so nice to be able to look at all the photos and messages that were left by our guests. Within a few days after our wedding Mike also provided us the links to all the photobooth photos. We were unsure about lighting but with Mikes guidance he knew exactly what we needed based on our music choices. We are so grateful for his expertise because it turned out absolutely amazing. P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. “Scott was the DJ at our friends wedding and we emailed him immediately after to DJ at our own. From start to finish, Scott was professional, responsive, and FUN. We only gave him a few “must plays” and he created an entire wedding playlist off of these, and it was perfect. Saratoga Sound is the best of both worlds with their live acoustic music for cocktail hour, and DJ services for the reception, and our guests loved it! The music during the reception was at a good volume for dinner, and Karen even went up to my mom during dinner to check in which my mom really appreciated. They did an amazing job reading the dance floor and keeping the party going until the very end! They finished the night with Love Story which was one of my song requests, but I had not specifically requested it at the end – it ended up being the most perfect end to our wedding and a memory I will never forget. “Paul and the band are premier entertainment in the Capital District. We chose them for our wedding after seeing them perform several shows around the area. They are well versed in all of the components that go into your big day and that relieves a lot of stress. The only time the dance floor was empty was when we were eating. Every member of the band is extremely talented, from the bass and drums as the foundation, the tasty licks and riffs from the guitar and the incredible vocals. Their versatility impressed everyone at our wedding and cannot express how grateful we are for putting on a spectacular show. “The New York Players were the thing our wedding guests talked about the most! Aside from being absolutely fantastic and putting on a great show, the pre-event communication and planning support really made NYP a great band to work with. We didn't really know going into booking what things needed to be considered when booking our event music, and Mike was so helpful for holding our hands through the planning process. Before the event, Mike helped us plan the logistics, met with us to discuss our goals, and gave us an extensive song list to select music from for the night, as well as adding some songs that we love that were not on the list. The attention to detail and level of care put into the band made feel so fun and special, and took a lot of the stress of wedding planning out of the music planning due to the top-notch professionalism. The preparation was easy and straightforward via email and phone. The day of the event, everything went perfectly. We were particularly happy with some of Kevin's suggestions such as the table dash photos (which are so great to have) and all the guests rushing up to us on the dance floor, which was really fun and made for great photos. Our guests said the MC and crowd work from Kevin was something they'd never seen before and really enjoyed. He was so great at getting the energy up on the dance floor and keeping it that way all night. I highly recommend him!”

“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”
