Celebrate in our temperature-controlled 1891 barn with a four-foot disco ball, gather around the bonfire, and stay onsite in our 1747 farmhouse. 2027 Wedding Weekend Venue Fees are $13,500 off-season (Nov-April + July) and $16,500 prime season (May-June and Aug-Oct). A two-night farmhouse stay ($1,200/night) and 15% service fee apply; your welcome event has no additional site fee. Most couples plan for an overall wedding budget (including all outside vendors and services) of approximately $55,000–$100,000+. Stissing House is one of the oldest taverns in America, located at the crossroads of the village of Pine Plains in the heart of Dutchess County. It’s 90 minutes from New York City, and 30 minutes south of Hudson. It has hosted feasts for generations. Downstairs, intimate dining rooms and fireside lounges are ideal for parties of 8-10 people. Upstairs, the oldest Dutch Colonial ballroom in America is designed for long-table dinners and weddings of 25-150 people. Gather your friends and family for pitchers of shandy and wood fired eggs the day before or morning after your party. Chef/Proprietor Clare de Boer cooks food that is generous and has a sense of place. Ingredients come from surrounding farms and are prepared simply on the tavern’s mammoth hearth. The eggs are laid today, the butter is homemade, and the food is for feasting.
