“Our wedding at Seven Ponds Farm was absolutely spectacular! The farm in the summer was beautiful and lush and made for a perfect backdrop for our wedding weekend. Staying onsite was such a treat and made the weekend extra special. The farmhouse and Virginia queen were so comfortable made us feel like we were right at home while being right in the middle of all the action. The venue itself was the perfect blend of rustic charm and elegance, with a scenic ceremony spot and a cozy reception barn. We loved being able to add our own DIY aspects to make it personalized to us as a couple. The staff was so lovely and helped us complete our vision seamlessly. Our family and friends are still raving about the venues, the amazing food (mushroom risotto!), the personalization and just how perfect everything was. We couldn’t have asked for a more memorable and beautiful place to celebrate our big day. Highly recommend this farm for anyone looking for a truly special venue!”

“We could not have asked for a more beautiful, inclusive, and accessible venue! Knowing that the vast majority of our guests would have to fly in to our wedding, no matter where we had it, it was important to us that we had a venue we could book for the whole weekend. Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful venue (with a lovely rain/cold weather location, which we ended up using), incredible food, and great service!”

Working with her was an absolute joy. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. When we had a less-than-favorable experience with our planner, Jules stepped in without hesitation and completely took control of the situation. She handled everything with professionalism and grace, allowing us to feel fully supported and at ease on our wedding day. I cannot recommend Hotel Lilien enough for couples looking for an intimate, memorable, and beautifully run wedding experience. “We recently had our wedding at The Barn at Black Walnut Farm, and it was extraordinary. From the moment we first toured the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us. Jim and Sarah have poured so much heart and craftsmanship into restoring this historic barn, preserving its rustic charm while modernizing it in all the right places.

The property itself is breathtaking, with thoughtfully designed spaces that make you feel completely immersed in nature. The rose garden and front yard provided great photo opportunities, not just for us but for all our guests.
Our ceremony in the forest site was an absolute dream. The setting created a truly magical, intimate atmosphere. It was the most picturesque backdrop for such a meaningful moment, and we can’t imagine having said our vows anywhere else.
The true gem of the property, however, is the historic house. Staying in this house was an unforgettable experience, and my family is already looking forward to returning for years to come.
The Barn at Black Walnut Farm is more than just a venue—it’s an experience and a place where memories are made. Jim and Sarah are not just venue owners; they are passionate, thoughtful hosts who truly care about every couple’s special day. We feel so honored to have celebrated our wedding here and cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“My husband and I got married at The Arnold House on December 7, 2024, and it was truly the most perfect winter wedding weekend—we wouldn’t change a thing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, with many comparing it to something straight out of a Hallmark movie. The property is absolutely magical. From the moment we visited, we fell in love with The Arnold House and knew we couldn’t wait to share it with our loved ones. The food, the ambiance, the cozy spaces throughout the property, and the beautifully appointed rooms all contribute to making this venue one-of-a-kind in the Catskills. The entire staff was amazing—everyone, from the wonderful kitchen team to the bartenders (shoutout to Kyle!), the front desk crew, and all the behind-the-scenes staff—went above and beyond to make our day special. A huge thank you to Emily & Will, who were absolute rockstars! They helped bring our vision to life with their organizational skills and attention to detail, guiding us every step of the way from the minute we booked to the day after the wedding. Everyone made sure that everything was perfect! We stumbled upon The Arnold House through Instagram in February 2024, and after visiting for lunch at the tavern the very next day, we were sold. The winter vibe, the barn, the greenhouse, cozy indoor fires, and outdoor firepits were everything we had dreamed of for our wedding. We visited again in the summer and fall, and no matter the season, The Arnold House always leaves you eager to plan your next visit.
