“Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding at City Winery Hudson Valley a few weeks ago and we are thrilled with our entire experience! We worked with Lerika from the very beginning when we first toured as our Sales Manager and communications with her throughout the process were perfect. Lerika also worked extremely well with our planner (Lauren F. from Wild Blooms – recommended by CW) and the two of them made sure all details were perfect. When we first toured CW, we loved all the different spaces and, due to a rainy wedding day, were very grateful for the many options. Although we intended for the ceremony to be by the river, the indoor space was beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop made even more beautiful with white flowers that popped against the brick and windows. And having cocktail hour within the bar area and restaurant, which they closed for us, made our event very private and allowed for sufficient seating during that time. The buttlered hors d’oeuvres were plentiful and the stations constantly replenished so they always looked stocked. Service was incredible throughout the day and our guests appeared to be served dinner all at once, and wait staff were very attentive. There were never lines at the bar during cocktail hour or the reception which was helped by the table wine service. We chose the Steak Bavette for our beef entrée and I was concerned the 6 oz standard portion would be too small so we upgraded to 8 oz which ended up being huge! And all the food served throughout the day was delicious! Lerika was attentive throughout the wedding day as was Tiffany, the CW event coordinator, who we did not meet until that day. Lerika and Tiffany anticipated our needs and made sure we were all taken care of throughout the day. Security identified a potential issue with one of our guests who had too much to drink and discreetly and professionally addressed it without our even knowing about it. We had more than 160 guests in attendance and the space was big enough to ensure it was easy to move around the tables while still feeling intimate. I love that we were able to place only two rows of tables on each side of the dance floor so everyone was close to the activity and never far apart. Our guests danced throughout the wedding which made it very fun. With recommendations from CW, we selected a florist (Laruen P. from Wild Blooms) and bistro lighting from Fox Haus that transformed the space and made it so beautiful. All the photos are absolutely gorgeous even though most were taken indoors. We also reserved the boiler bar for the guys to get ready which was fun for them and the Nest for the ladies which was spacious and beautiful. And lastly, we hosted an afterparty in the boiler bar for the friends of the bride and groom which was perfect to give them extra time with their close friends! CW hosts a combined food tasting for all couples with scheduled weddings and it gave us a great glimpse of what the actual wedding day would be like with plenty of special and personal touches for the bride and groom. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was, and we continue to receive so many compliments from our guests! It was fun, it was beautiful, it was delicious, it was perfectly what our daughter and son-in-law envisioned!”

“We love working at Full Moon Resort, Its such a beautiful venue! They have the perfect wooded ceremony spot, but also has open fields to use or in case of bad weather you can get married in the barn or the ceremony tent, they also use the barn throughout their weekend weddings for Rehearsal Dinners, breakfast & lunch. & then you have the pavilion which is a beautiful open and airy room that is meant for the reception (its nice that although your guests are there for the weekend you get to save this space for the main event instead of having to repeat a location) They also have lodging for many, with a pool and the grounds are beautiful. We work with Morgan, Nikki, and Kayla (along with many of the other staff members) and they are all aways great to work with, (they know how to work with as a team with hired vendors like us) which makes it more enjoyable and stress-free for all! We are a florist/decorating company and although we have done some elaborate weddings at full moon, you actually don't need to go crazy on florals and decor as the venue itself is beautiful and surrounded by nature.”

“The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the entire space came together perfectly for both the ceremony and reception. What really made the day seamless, though, was the team that supported us. Annie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute godsend. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask - always three steps ahead, always composed, always kind. I felt fully taken care of, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. We’re so grateful to the entire team - thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and so easy to enjoy.”

“We fell in love with Handsome Hollow the first time we stepped onto the property. We'd actually seen it covered in snow that first visit, and even then it felt magical. Kate promised us it would be just as beautiful in the spring. Funny enough, when we came back to tour with our planner, it was snowing again. Kate was great to communicate with throughout, and she and her husband Huck were a pleasure to work with from start to finish, easygoing and warm, the kind of people who put you at ease right away. Their staff went above and beyond during planning, and when rain threatened our day, they pivoted so quickly that our backup plan ended up being better than anything we could have imagined.”

“My wife and I held our wedding weekend at The North Branch Inn this October and could not have had a better experience - we can't recommend The North Branch Inn enough! The grounds are stunning - with beautiful 7 acres to spread out in for different events including a tucked away creekside ceremony space, lovely gardens for the cocktail hour, and a huge space for a tented outdoor wedding, firepits, and more. The historic buildings are equally lovely. We loved having our family and close friends on site where we could all be together. The accommodations are excellent - the room we stayed in was huge and even came with an attached covered porch that we could use for our wedding storage (which was so great to have), and we loved soaking in the clawfoot tub the day after our wedding. The lounges in each building also are great - with lots of different spaces to congregate. The food is EXCEPTIONAL and was one of the top reasons we chose our venue. We knew Chef Jake would create a beautiful special menu for our wedding and for all of the other weekend events, and he did not disappoint. So many of our guests told us this was the best wedding food they had ever had, and the guests that stayed on site all also raved about the delicious breakfasts each morning. Most importantly, choosing to work with Caroline and Jake, who own the inn, we think was the best choice we made for our wedding. Caroline is so communicative, answered every email we sent quickly, and just went above and beyond on the details to make sure our event was seamless. All of the staff did a phenomenal job and you can really feel the love in this very special place. We'd give them 500 stars if Zola would let us.”

“My husband and I got married at The Arnold House on December 7, 2024, and it was truly the most perfect winter wedding weekend—we wouldn’t change a thing! Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue, with many comparing it to something straight out of a Hallmark movie. The property is absolutely magical. From the moment we visited, we fell in love with The Arnold House and knew we couldn’t wait to share it with our loved ones. The food, the ambiance, the cozy spaces throughout the property, and the beautifully appointed rooms all contribute to making this venue one-of-a-kind in the Catskills. The entire staff was amazing—everyone, from the wonderful kitchen team to the bartenders (shoutout to Kyle!), the front desk crew, and all the behind-the-scenes staff—went above and beyond to make our day special. A huge thank you to Emily & Will, who were absolute rockstars! They helped bring our vision to life with their organizational skills and attention to detail, guiding us every step of the way from the minute we booked to the day after the wedding. Everyone made sure that everything was perfect! We stumbled upon The Arnold House through Instagram in February 2024, and after visiting for lunch at the tavern the very next day, we were sold. The winter vibe, the barn, the greenhouse, cozy indoor fires, and outdoor firepits were everything we had dreamed of for our wedding. We visited again in the summer and fall, and no matter the season, The Arnold House always leaves you eager to plan your next visit. If you’re searching for a beautiful, intimate wedding weekend with a team of experienced professionals who truly care about bringing your vision to life, The Arnold House is the place for you!”

“We recently held our daughters wedding in the NY Catskills, during the 2025 Fall Foliage season. Our daughter created a cohesive vision that would be embedded throughout all of the wedding events (Rehearsal Dinner; Welcome Party; Wedding Day Ceremony & Reception; After Party and finally the Farewell Brunch). Her goal was to strike that unique vibe and ensure that every guest walked away from the weekend with a long lasting memory that differentiated the experience from most traditional weddings. Coordinating a wedding in the Catskills takes a lot of planning and coordination to deliver that unique experience for guests traveling from all over the country, especially when the attention for detail is a priority. One of the best decisions we made, was to choose French Woods Farmhouse, to be the venue to start & end our wedding weekend. French Woods Farmhouse was the venue for our Welcome Party as well as for our Farewell Brunch. The Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch at French Woods Farmhouse, exceeded our expectations in kicking off the wedding weekend & wrapping it up. The property & layout was so conducive for our Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch goals, in getting our guests quickly immersed into a Catskills Wedding vibe. Some of the featured highlights included: - Full Cocktail Bar - Live Music - Curated Catered Food with Service - Random Gathering Spots for Mingling, Eating & Drinking (including tables, seating, as well as space within their newly renovated barn) - Spontaneous Lighting Elements (on driveway, pond, trees) - Continuous Video Clips, projected on to the side of the barn - Massive Fire Pits for chilling & watching the stars (this was a HUGE hit) And all showcased on a meticulously manicured property that provided our guests with epic views of clear skies, rolling hills, foliage changing landscapes & ponds, all in a secluded space from the rest of the world! All of this would not be possible without the continuous orchestration with the owners of French Woods Farmhouse (Bruce & Denise). Throughout the entire planning process, they were in constant contact with us, as well as coordinating several visits to fine tune all of the details including reviewing various property visuals, layouts & configurations. (They literally created backup layouts as well, in the event of bad weather) They also are well connected in the area, in terms of services, rentals & activities, so when it came time to finalize the many details, they made it SO easy & frictionless. It was incredibly helpful to have their help in coordinating various aspects (eg., rentals, catering, servers, restroom trailers, cleanup crews, parking). While we leveraged French Woods Farmhouse for the Welcome Party & Farewell Brunch, in hindsight we should have also considered the Rehearsal Dinner and After Party events at this venue as well! The space is very dynamic to setup differently for each event scenario. FYI… We also happen to rent the main house for 8 of us to stay for the entire weekend. The attention to detail shown throughout the entire property is impeccable & impressive. The house is WELL stocked with all your needs, anticipating all scenarios & questions one would encounter while staying at their gorgeous home & property. (We also loved the farmhouse décor) Overall cleanliness… the entire house was extremely clean upon stepping in on our first day. Its clear that they prioritize this, as if they were staying themselves.”

“TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! “Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”

“If you are considering booking Stonewall Estate for your wedding, JUST DO IT!!! When I saw photos online, I thought it would be the perfect place for our wedding, and then after speaking with the owner, Melanie, I was sold! She made us feel comfortable enough to book site unseen, and we do not regret it one bit! When we finally saw the venue and grounds in person, we were blown away. Melanie worked closely with our planner and other vendors to make sure our vision was executed perfectly. Our planner was not able to attend our wedding, so Melanie stepped in to coordinate day of, and everything went seamlessly. I also have to mention the onsite estate house and newlywed cottage. Both spaces are absolutely beautiful, and it was so nice to have all our close friends and family be able to stay on property; it made our weekend all the more special. Stonewalls' list of preferred vendors was extremely helpful and allowed us to build the perfect team for our day. I could truly never recommend them enough!!”

“The Outlier Inn is truly one-of-a-kind, offering so much more than your typical wedding venue. From the start, we knew it was something special. One of our favorite aspects was being able to bring all of our loved ones together in one place for the entire weekend, creating a unique experience where our family and friends were “trapped” in the best way—celebrating and bonding without distractions. If you’re someone who loves to party under the stars, and you enjoy envisioning and creating fun, personalized spaces, this is the venue for you. The property itself is a hidden gem, full of surprises at every turn. There’s so much to explore, from the charming tiny houses scattered throughout, to the inviting homemade hot tub and peaceful sauna, to the quirky hidden thrift shop/barn. We held our ceremony in the newly added amphitheater nestled in the woods—an intimate space surrounded by towering trees, creating a perfect natural backdrop for our vows. We were lucky with beautiful September weather, and the sound of our friends laughing and exploring the grounds will forever be a cherished memory. Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! But in all honesty, The Outlier Inn is an extraordinary venue, and we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you, Josh, for making our weekend so unforgettable!”

Once COVID hit we had to adjust our wedding timeline to July. Ashley went above and beyond to help us make all accommodation changes. She kept us informed of protocol and helped us ensure we could still have our wedding while following all safety measures needed for COVID. “We were Nick’s second ever wedding at The Mod House back in 2022 (I’m a bit tardy on this review, apologies world!) From the moment we reached out to him, to day-of, he was available, professional and willing to work with us on requests for our (literally) perfect wedding. He recommended local vendors for music and food, all of which we ended up hiring, and they were the perfect fit for the vibe we were going for. We enjoyed him so thoroughly, and wanted him to share in the vision he helped us create so we even invited him to all the wedding festivities and he was the best bonus guest. Our wedding party and families loved getting to know him and learning about the history of the house, the area, and of course, Love Velma. Speaking of the house and property, which really requires no introduction, is downright gorgeous. It is truly a gem, and all of the additions Nick has made over the last few years only adds to its charm. Love, Velma is a wonder and makes you feel transported to another era. It really felt like getting married ‘at home’ in the most glamorous way. Transported to another time—a fever dream, it still almost does not feel real to have been able to be married at such a beautiful place. You can ask us, or any of our guests, everyone will tell you it was the best, most chill, and most fun wedding they have ever been to. A lot of that compliment, if not most of it, is because of The Mod House and Nick’s care and curation of his marvelous jewel.”

“Our experience working with Belleayre Lodge couldn’t have been better. Gigi, Angel, Brian, and Matt, worked together with us so seamlessly to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We rented the property Friday through Sunday and hosted just around 60 guest. The guest who didn’t fit in the cabins, (and also didn’t want the late night shenanigans) stayed at the hotels literally right across the street. Our guest arrived Friday night and we hosted a rehearsal dinner with a food truck and cash bar (run by the lodge). Saturday was our wedding day. We got married at the local ski mountain (Belleayre Mountain) and returned to Belleayre Lodge for our cocktail hour and reception. The food was absolutely amazing during both cocktail hour and our dinner. We had a beer and wine bar, with local drinks, as well as homemade ice tea and lemonade. We had a cake from a local bakery and ice cream bar from a local creamery for dessert. Sunday morning we hosted a farewell breakfast. The coffee and food, again were phenomenal. The decor and little touches made everything perfect. There was so much thought put into ever part of our wedding and their passion showed in their work. I am so glad we took the chance on this new location. It truly was the best day!”
