Meet Milwaukee’s PhDJ, DJ Fuzzy Logic®! Fuzzy Logic started DJing as the summer co-host of The Soul Patrol at 91.5 FM WECI in Richmond, Indiana. This was the late 80s, so DJs spun vinyl. We were heavily influenced by the nearby Dayton/Cincinnati scene, arguably the world capital of funk. Midnight Star, Zapp, Ohio Players, and Slave were big, but hip hop was exciting, and we were the only people to play it on local stations. Jimmy Rupe Productions was started by DJ Mello Ell when he was a child. Born Elliot James "E.J." Rupert in Milwaukee, WI, he started making mixtapes and CD compilations for family and friends. Having received praise for his ear for music, this led to his desire to deejay. He joined the Navy in 2007 which sent him to his duty station in Oak Harbor, WA, near Seattle. After serving, he loved the Seattle area so much that he decided to stay there and take on the music world. After doing a lot of gigs in Seattle, he came back to Milwaukee with a new focus and plan to take on the party scene.
