“Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”

“We found Brandon through our wedding planner Christine Garrison of CMG Events. She suggested him because we were interested in having someone play acoustic guitar and singing during the wedding. After chatting with Brandon, we hired him to play the guitar for our ceremony, act as a wandering minstrel during the cocktail hour, and DJ the entire event. Our ceremony took place outdoors in an open lawn area. Brandon did a great job with setting up the sound. Everyone was able to hear both us and the officiant clearly. The acoustic rendition of Heartbeats (Jose Gonzalez) and Wildflowers (Tom Petty) he played for our processional and recessional were beautiful and really set the mood we were looking for. Brandon also did a great job DJing the event. He was able to take a small number of songs and expand the playlist to not only fit our tastes but keep the party hopping. We had expected that we would have minimal dancing and that our crowd would mostly just sit around chatting. However, Brandon was able to keep the energy up and the dance floor going throughout the night. It far exceeded our expectations and made the night really memorable. He was extremely professional throughout the planning process. We had several calls leading up to the wedding, and he made it easy to communicate what we were looking for in the event. We added songs to a few different playlists which he used as a jumping off point. He also provided suggestions for all the important moments (e.g., processionals, recessional, first dance, grand entrance). His contract and other documents were also clear and always sent promptly. On the day of Brandon arrived on time for set up and did a great job with all aspects (sound, DJing, acoustic performance, and lighting) of the event. He looked extremely professional and was communicative throughout the day, constantly checking in with the planner and us to make sure everything was going well. If he wasn’t sure about a song, he’d ask before playing it. Best of all, he was extremely reasonably priced. His assistant, Josh, was also very nice and did a great job.”

As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. “DJ Dominiq was the DJ for our wedding at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in October 2024, and choosing him was one of the easiest decisions we made. My fiancé is extremely particular about music, especially transitions, flow, and reading the dance floor. We wanted a party that felt elevated, fun, and alive, without the undertone of a corny MC or over-the-top DJ personality. Dominiq absolutely nailed this. The music flowed seamlessly, the energy never dipped, and the dance floor stayed full because he truly knows how to read a room. The communication and client experience with this business was top notch. Trevor DJ Nighthawk responded to all our emails, texts, and phone call requests in a timely and professional manner and respected all our requests for the events. He arrived well in advance of the start time to ensure he was fully set up and ready to roll on schedule. From the sangeet to the baraat and the reception, he seamlessly blended traditional Indian music with modern hits, keeping every element lively and authentic. The baraat was truly memorable with high-energy beats that got everyone dancing, while the sangeet featured a perfect mix of Bollywood classics and crowd favorites. During the reception, his lighting absolutely accomplished the "cool" vibe we had requested, and the dance floor stayed packed all night; he kept all generations entertained.
