WELCOME! I'M LISA. And I am so glad you found my online home! There’s something magical about the sparkle in a man’s eye as he says “I do” to his bride. There’s something wondrous about the warmth of your husband’s comforting embrace after a long day at work. And there’s something simply delightful about the mischievous grin on a toddler’s face as they burst into laughter, telling their momma the best joke ever. (Spoiler alert: it'd probably be a bit inappropriate for the dinner table!)

Since 2008, I’ve found myself as a professional photographer who strives to capture life, in all of its twists + turns, candidly. In addition to taking pictures, I am: the owner of The Made Fest, a handmade + vintage festival; in love with my husband; a co-founder of Smile Politely, a Champaign-Urbana local culture magazine and The Pygmalion Festival; a master gardener; an epicurean; and a mother. I am a feminist and a LGBTIAQ ally.

As an experienced wedding photographer who has photographed over 150 weddings in ten states, I've come to love joyful, adventurous couples who adore their friends and family. My couples tend to care most about genuine emotion and tender moments of the day and having timeless, classic, happy photos that will stand the test of time. They can't wait to have a stunning album full of the story of their wedding day to look at for years to come and share with generations. They see the wedding as the start of a beautiful marriage and care more about their marriage than making their wedding a production.

Hey there! My names Chloe, I am a 25 year old photographer based out of urbana Illinois. My favorite color is the color yellow and I enjoy spending time w my partner and our pup. I’ve been taking photos for 10 years, and have interned under Brad hart wedding photography.

Born and raised in Joliet, IL. but now based in Pontiac, IL my husband and I love to travel all around the state and also out of it. Since I was a kid I've always loved photography and always had a camera I could get my hands on ready. It mostly consisted of my older sister's old cameras but I would make it work. I’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 2017. I like being the friend in the background taking pictures of you while you take it all in. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving and laughing. You are probably assuming my about me section will have a story about how I always wanted to be a photographer, I came out of the womb holding a camera, but that couldn’t be me. I stumbled into it, literally. I had no plans to become a wedding photographer. I was either going to follow my dad’s path and go to dental school, or become a social worker. But a freshman in college decided to shoot a few photos for fun, and now over eight years and almost 200 weddings later, I could not imagine myself doing anything else. This is my dream job!
