“Mel is truly a one-of-a-kind photographer. I’m an over planning, anxious person and bride. My photos were my top priority of my wedding day and it was extremely important to me that they were what I wanted. I had searched for what seemed like forever and stumbled across Farfalla and immediately knew it was the style I had been searching for. The contrast makes the photos intimate without comprising them and being too dark. And there is no give in color, it’s beautifully there. I call it intimately colorful, which is what my day is all about. I knew our engagement photos would be good but they surpassed anything I imagined. They were STUNNING. “We had the most amazing time working with Ali! We had kind of a long engagement and we initially started working with Ali over a year and a half before our wedding to get our engagement photos done. Not only were the photos beautiful, but Ali made us feel super comfortable and at ease throughout our session. Leading up to our wedding day, Ali was amazing at coordinating the day of timeline with our coordinator and making sure that all the elements that were important to us were included so that we had enough time to capture the moments. One of my favorite things about working with Ali is her calm presence. Every time I was stressed about something in the planning process about the timeline I would talk to Ali and she would immediately make me feel at ease. She was constantly reminding me that the most important thing on my wedding day was to be present with our friends and family (and as a type A bride this was a much-needed reminder!) Ali also came to take photos at our rehearsal dinner and welcome party which was great because she got to know our families and our family dynamics before our big day which was a huge help! On the wedding day Ali and the second shooter Scottie were rockstars! “I originally chose Holly for my photographer because we had a very specific theme for our wedding (Destiny the video game). It must have also been Destiny that she played the game and was familiar with the theme. Also, she was amazingly flexible and willing to work with our budget. Her correspondence with me was always quick and prompt. Even when it came to getting my professional pictures and sneak peaks all back, I was told it would be up to 2 months for return, but she had them back in only a week or two's time. Unfortunately, (as these things sometimes happen) Holly was not able to actually come do our photos due to getting extremely sick (which no one can help), so we had to have a stand in photographer named Justin. I know we (including herself) were all bummed she could not be there considering we were all excited and familiar with the theme. Despite not having Holly, Justin was still very nice to work with and did an amazing job. I did notice that the best pictures (of course) were the ones he had time to actually position and pose us for. I think my biggest regret was I wish I had had more time and funds to pay for more time for him to pose us and take these more less candid photos. I was sad to find that we missed out on getting individual photos of my daughters and all four of them on their own. Also there were no photos of my husband with his second oldest daughter which really upset her... But again, I don't blame the photographer for this. It really was chalked up to a lack of time. Also, one of my daughters changed into more comfortable clothes during dinner so that took away from us being able to get the nice pictures I had wanted. So I can't emphasize enough that I don't blame the photographers for this at all... It was just one of my biggest regrets on my part of the night. I again, wish I had built more time and been able to contribute more money to more pictures that could be done in this manner. I definitely recommend this team. They are so nice and do their best to check off all of the boxes that you want. They work with you and are quick and efficient with what they do.”

He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. “We planned our wedding from all the way across the country (Florida to California) so we already had challenges. From the beginning, the price was great and the photos looked promising, so we decided to go for it and we are so glad we did! Turned out to be well worth it. Michael connected with us immediately, assured us he would make it happen and not to worry about a thing. We communicated over the phone and through email, he always answered every time I called, ready to listen and note my requests. The day of, the photographer Michael booked for us, Michaela Gardener drove hours to be there for our special day and even brought an assistant. She was willing to be hands on all day, treated my children like family and even stayed late to capture extra shots. Her experience shows from her work. Both the DJ and Photographer arrived early to set up and are experienced business owners. The photos are great quality and high resolution. They came out so beautiful, even with our imperfect family and little ones running around, she somehow made us look great.
