Every single person we talked to from Lindsay Mackey, their amazing manger and our first contact to the hotel-block assistant was a joy to work with, communicative and helpful. The workbook, spreadsheets, and connections with other coordinators and vendors made the whole wedding planning process more enjoyable and streamlined. We chose the Day of Coordination and are very grateful to have had Hanh as our wedding coordinator! Hanh is worth her weight in gold! With Day of Coordination we received not only ten hours of custom coordination from the wonderfully efficient and empathic Hanh, we also had the help of her assistant. This was perfect because someone was by my and my husband’s throughout the day. I loved that with SEG we had a whole team of magnifically organized, thorough and compassionate individuals to support us in executing our dream wedding. Once we had submitted our information Lindsay contacted us to go over all of the things included in wedding planning. She created a rough draft of our day of timeline and gave us access to our Wedding Workbook. They have templates for everything you will need for organizing your wedding and making sure you do not miss out on important, but often overlooked details. Two months before our wedding date we were connected with Hanh. From our first meeting throughout the whole time before the wedding and for the duration of our wedding itself Hanh was both our wedding angel and ninja rolled all into one. I had done a lot of the initial setting up vendors, but as soon as she could she took over as my contact person. This meant the vendors had to email/reach out to Hanh and left me feeling like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. From this point on I started to enjoy wedding planning.I love that she reached out to not only myself, but included my now husband and daughter in on a meeting. If there were any hiccups leading up to the wedding I did not know until they were already handled. On our wedding day, everything went smoothly for my husband and I and our family.Again if there were any mishaps my husband and I were oblivious of them and we had the best wedding ever! From set up, to greeting and paying vendors, to tear down, we were able to be so present in a day that could have been so stressful because we knew we were in great hands. We debated whether or not we would hire a day of coordinator and Xtraordinary Coordinations turned out to be the most important vendor of our special day! “We shopped around a bit for a planner before landing on McKayla and her team over at Shaded Spruce Events. Even though we only booked the partial planning package, it felt as if we had a full planner on our side. McKayla made an effort to meet us on our level and elevate ALL of our ideas into a reality. McKayla took most of the logistical planning out of our hands, which allowed us to focus on the fun things. She also helped us settle on and refine the design of the event, and she gave really great ideas that we probably wouldn't have though of on our own. Her recommendations for vendors was also super helpful, and we were very pleased with the ones that we booked. She quickly figured out what we were looking for and how we operated and catered the planning to fit what we needed. With our package, we were also able to utilize a lot of additional decor and services that Shaded Spruce provides, which really added to the overall design of the event. On the big day, we didn't see much of McKayla and her team beyond what was needed, but we knew they were working hard to make the day perfect because the day went perfectly from our perspective! Not only did the event look perfect, we were also extremely satisfied with McKayla and her team's communication. We were always in the loop about what we needed to do and where we needed to be without it feeling overwhelming. At the end of the night, she handled the organization of the tear down, which allowed for the two of us to head out without having to worry about it. Overall, working with McKayla and her team was a true pleasure. We would highly recommend her to anyone who is even thinking of getting a planner. “Sarah was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Professional, friendly, really made me and my husband (WOOOO Sorry still excited that I get to say Husband now) feel comfortable and less stressed. We originally weren't going to get a DOC and have a couple family members help us but at the last minute we decided to just go for it and we could not have been happier. Until the day of, you don't realize how much running around there actually is and Sarah did all of that with ease. She kept us on time, made sure everything was set (we had about 150 guests), laid out all the decor and even helped break down at the end! Cannot recommend her enough. “Do yourself a favor and hire Dos Goats! I could not imagine wedding planning without them. From start to finish Adam and Christina were amazing to work with! The wedding industry today is super saturated and they were able to point us towards vendors that would be right for us so we didn’t have to sift through hundreds of options on our own. She had a perfect balance of opinions and encouragement. I was in joyful tears when I saw our reception room decor—the candles and lighting were just perfect and better than I’d imagined. We did a sneak peek and I think my face says it all. She made our wedding decor dreams come true—everything was classy, fun, and modern. We’d initially considered the diy route for decor but I’m so incredibly happy we went with Revel and Flourish. The time and care they put into our day was incredible. Their decor looked amazing and I loved getting a quick wave from Kristina as she finished setting everything up.
